All The Pastels!

Next weekend I've booked myself in for my next tattoo...which will end up being my third one, at this stage I'm planning of getting an hibiscus flower/s on one side of my back! I'm anxious but at the same time excited to have it done as well. I'll probably post a photo on instagram after it's done and hopefully on here on my personal blog in the near future. My Mum is also coming, as she wants to get something done as well!

Today's outfit blog post is about this harlequin Jenny skirt by Pinup Girl Clothing and my cute little flamingo cardigan by Sourpuss Clothing. I have blogged about this skirt before in a previous blog post here is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/harlequin-style.html
I just love the harlequin colours in this skirt and how you can mix and match a lot of different colour tops/blouse's with it. That's why I knew matching my cute flamingo Sourpuss cardigan with this wonderful Jenny skirt would work. The pastel pink/green go so well together!
I decided to accessorize this outfit with my pink Sun Jellies bag, my pink hair-flower and my pink retro car necklace.
Harlequin Jenny skirt is by Pinup Girl Clothing which I bought from a facebook group.

Pretty Pink Flowers!

I'm looking forward to going to my first "official" rockabilly/pinup festival next month in August which is called Greazefest! I've been wanting to go for a couple of years now but because of work commitments and living a few hours away, I haven't been able to go.  But I'm planning on going this year... I'm really looking forward to it! There will be Hot rods, rockabilly bands, pinup fashions and store holders. It runs for a whole weekend, so I really would love to go both Saturday and Sunday to it. I hope to meet some ladies I follow on instagram...that would be so awesome!

Today's outfit blog post is about this pretty little vintage inspired dress by the company Dangerfield from their Revival collection. I have blogged this dress before here is the link http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/04/vintage-inspired.html  I just love this dress, it personally remains me of a true vintage dress.
I love the pastel green colour, the embroidered flowers, how it's lined in the skirt area and the plunge back line. This dress is a great little summer dress but I wore my pink cardigan, as it was a little cool when I took this blog photos.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my peacock brooch, my green retro sunglasses, my pink cardigan and my green hair-flower.
Dress is by the brand Dangerfield by the Revival collection http://shop.dangerfield.com.au/girls/
White peep-toe sandals are from Target.
Pink cardigan is from Kmart.
Peacock brooch is from a vintage market fair.
Green hair-flower is from a local accessories boutique.
Retro sunglasses are from a pre-loved clothing boutique.
I thought these fabric pink flowers would go so well with today's dress and outfit blog post!

Until next time!

Sweet Juicy Oranges!

I've been working a lot more hours/shifts lately at work, due to staff leaving and staff off sick! I don't mind the extra hours because it means extra money! Which means extra pretties for me he he! But working in an Aged Care facility as a personal carer is hard work and can be quite tiring and stressful. I'm counting down the weeks (5 in total), until I'm on leave for a couple of weeks, Yay!! Because I have some fun plans to do on my holidays!

Today's blog post is about this new dress I now own from the vintage reproduction brand Bernie Dexter. http://berniedexter.com/  I've been eying off this dress for quite a while now, as I totally love the orange fabric print and the design and style of this swing pinup dress.
Other great features to this dress, the shelf bust-line, the light cotton fabric and it has lipstick pockets. Such a great dress to wear in the hotter and cooler months, just add a jacket/cardigan and tights/stockings like I have for those cooler days.
I decide to accessorize this gorgeous dress with my new vintage wicker hat, brooch pins and my black cardigan.
Juicy orange print dress is by the brand Bernie Dexter which I bought from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Vintage wicker hat is from a vintage clothing/accessories and furniture store.
Black cardigan is from Target.
Brooch/hat pins are from an ebay seller.
Silver flats are from Rivers   http://www.rivers.com.au/
For today's outfit blog photos I knew I had to pose with a real orange, as in the above photo. The orange blends in perfectly with the Bernie Dexter juicy orange print dress.

Until next time!
