Nautical Girl!

This nautical inspired outfit that I'm wearing in these photos and blogging this week is from Lindybop
I bought both the top and couletts a few months ago, as they were both on "sale" at the time.
The 'Bardot' sailboat and lighthouse print jersey top, is made from a soft jersey material ( it's very comfortable to wear).  It has three quarter length sleeves and is made from 95% viscose and 5% elastane.  I just love the sailboat and lighthouse print on the blue background, very cute and nautical of course!
This top though is nearly sold out in all sizes on Lindybop's website but you may be able to find it through other rockabilly/pinup/vintage inspired online boutiques and stores.
The 'Bobette' blue white stripe culotte trousers are also from Lindybop.  They are high-waisted, have side pockets, a concealed side zip and really cute anchor decorative buttons in the front panel. These pants are also very comfortable to wear because of the wide design legs and that's it made from 97% cotton and 3% elastane. Again these trousers are nearly sold out through Lindybop, with only a couple of sizes left.
Both the top and trousers fit me quite well, I always follow the size guide for each garment.
Accessories Include:
White sandals from Novo Shoes
Blue jelly handbag from Laurina Jean Retro
Sunglasses Colette by Colette Hayman
Bamboo bangles and blue hair-scarf from ebay sellers
These photos were taken by my Mum down at the marina and on the Urangan pier at Hervey Bay, Queensland.
I knew I wanted to take photos in this outfit for my blog near sailing boats, and by the sea.  My Mum did a wonderful job taking these photos with my new camera!
In other news I had a lovely weekend just gone, taking blog photos at a friends house, she owns a beautiful Queenslander out on acreage, I'll be sharing these photos in the coming weeks.
On Sunday I went to Wings and Wheels, this included watching a pinup pageant (20 ladies, strutting their stuff), also there were old war planes and of course vintage cars to look at and admire.
The last two days at work, I dressed up in a touch of Halloween and today I dressed up for The Melbourne cup, Australia's most prestigious annual horse race that stops a nation!  I always enjoy dressing up a bit for work if I can.

Until next time!
