Waiting for the Train!

This is my second Kitty Day dress from UK brand Vivien of Holloway  that I currently own.  I've also previously blogged my other Kitty dress here is the link to that: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2016/04/kitty-carousel.html
I really love these dress styles so much, as they are so comfortable, yet stylish to wear.  Plus they actually look like true 1950's vintage dresses.
The Kitty Day dress I'm wearing in these blog photos is called Scallop Pistachio.
I love the green, white and pink together, it's such a gorgeous print.  With the little flowers and bows printed all over this dress.  I also adore the longer length as well (great for my taller height, I'm 174 cm).
The dress is made from a crisp cotton and features two front pockets, shoulder pads, a discreet side zip, vintage front buttons, a nipped waist and a gathered skirt.
It is currently listed to purchase on Vivien of Holloway's website for £89 and comes in many sizes, unfortunately some sizes have now sold out in this print, but there any many other prints to choose from. I always follow the size guide as listed on their website for each dress/garment to achieve the best fit to my body shape.
One thing I do find with the Kitty Day dresses, is that I always wear a belt, as it seems to give me more definition in the waist and in general looks more stylish!
Accessories Include
Heels from Bait Footwear
Vintage handbag from a facebook buy/sell/swap group
Vintage gloves thrifted
Bangle thrifted
Pink hair-flower Gigis Retro Closet
Retro belt is by Hell Bunny
Retro glasses from a ebay seller
Lady brooch is from Deer Arrow
There blog photos were taken on my own at a heritage train station (no longer is use) at a town in Queensland, Australia called Gympie.
Back in the early day this train station would have been a busyone for sure.  I love taking photos at old train stations, it just seems to add a bit of authenticity to the photos, especially when wearing vintage inspired garments.
In other news, apart from working and doing general things at home I've been taking blog photos, I have quite a number of outfits/accessories that I shall be featuring on my blog in the near future, so that keeps me busy, but I really enjoy doing it!
I also caught up with family for lunch on Sunday, including my Mum, Dad, sister, brother, his wife and my niece and nephew.  It's always so wonderful to spend time with all the family!

Until next time!
