My type of pinup style!

I haven't had a chance to blog for a couple of weeks, due to I've just been busy with work and my personal life to actually post a blog.  I've got a few exciting things coming up that I've been planning for as well.  Especially my first ever pinup pageant I have entered, which is happening in a couple of weeks time, I'm in the top 10!!  I have been sorting out what I'll be wearing and where to get my makeup, hair and nails professionally done...it's all so exciting!
This Saturday night I'm going out to dinner with some of the other pinup pageant finalist to meet, have a chat and have some dinner and drinks, I'm really looking forward to it.

I love this cherry print Jenny skirt by Pinup Couture (pinup girl clothing), I thought I would wear my cherry print blouse with this skirt, as they go so well together. I decided to accessorize this outfit with my cherry print hand-bag by Sourpuss Clothing. I just love cherries, it's one of my favorite novelty prints.

It's now Spring here in Australia, my favorite season! I decided to dress Tiki/Hawaiian style for the first days of spring. This will probably be my last time wearing this Freddies of Pinewood high-waisted jeans in a while, as it gets way too hot to wear long pants here in Queensland, Australia!
I decided to wear my new Hawaiian/flamingo printed shirt with these awesome jeans and accessorize with my vintage wicker purse and flamingo sandals by Miss L Fire.
Shirt is from Lowes Australia.
Jeans are by Freddies of Pinewood and are from Ruff N Ready  http://www.ruffnready.com.au/

I'll keep you all updated over the next few weeks with my first ever pinup pageant, and a few vintage/rockabilly festivals I'll be attending!

Until next time!

  1. At first glance I didn't even realize that that first look wasn't a dress but had two pieces instead! Great styling! XO

  2. Congratulations on making it to the top 10 finalists for the pinup pageant! The meeting with the other finalist sounds like so much fun! Looking forward to hearing all about how the pageant goes. I love both your outfits in this post! I love the flamingos with your Freddies jeans! So pretty to see those bright colorful flamingos. And I love the way you paired your cherries top with the cherries pug skirt! It looks like it's a dress! They go so well together!
