Let's go Sailing!

Today's outfit blog post is about this nautical inspired dress by the budget alternative clothing brand Chicstar. In these photos I'm accessorizing this dress with my Erstwilder Betty Jo sparrow brooch and faux pearl necklace from Vivien of Holloway.

This is my first rockabilly/pinup inspired dress I bought for myself, which was around four years ago. I bought this dress to wear to a wedding for something a little different and unique. At the time I didn't think I would end up wearing this type of fashion on a every-day basis. But now this dress is now part of my vintage inspired wardrobe.
I have had this dress taken in about a year ago, because of losing weight and I wanted to still keep and wear this dress.  Saying that I wouldn't say it's my favorite dress in my wardrobe but at the same time it's so unique with the nautical inspired style. I love the navy blue and white together and the white four buttons on the front and the satin type material.
My dress is by the brand Chicstar  http://www.chicstar.com/ which I bought from an ebay seller.
My white cardigan is from Target.
The navy blue shoes are from Rivers  http://www.rivers.com.au/
The sparrow brooch is from an ebay seller.
White pearl necklace is from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/  and my white belt is from another dress I own.
In the above photo is the type of sailing yacht I could see myself on, whilst relaxing and wearing my nautical inspired dress! Let's go Sailing!!

Until next time!
