Black and White!

For my outfit of the day blog post, here I am wearing a blouse and skirt I bought from a local "pre-loved" fashion boutique and accessorizing with my cute panda bag I bought a few years back from a local handbag and luggage boutique.

I went into a local "pre-loved" boutique a few months back and bought these two separate garment pieces. I thought they both looked very vintage looking (not true vintage though). I love the black and white stripes of the skirt, plus it's lined and also has pockets. I do have to wear it with a belt though, as the skirt is a little big on me. The blouse is black with little white poker-dots over it, lovely and cool to wear in the hotter months.
I wore this outfit, after I finished work to chill and relax in. I've had to work some extra hours, the last couple of days because of staff shortage due to staff being of sick and staff not being able to get into work due to flooding (from an ex cyclone "Marcia" here in Queensland, Australia).
The Blouse is from a local "pre-loved" boutique.
The Skirt is also from a local "pre-loved" boutique.
My black flats are from K-mart.
My handbag is from a local handbag and luggage boutique. Sunglasses are from an ebay seller and my white belt is from another dress I own.
My male cat who's name is Bo (in the above photo) suits the black and white outfit I'm wearing perfectly for this outfit blog post.

Until next time!

Red and Yellow Hibiscus!

For my outfit of the day post, here I am wearing this gorgeous hibiscus/tropical inspired dress by the brand Collectif (which is out of stock now) and accessorizing with my red hibiscus hair-flower.

I received this dress a few weeks ago, from a lovely lady I follow on Instagram, at the time she was selling some of her clothing, that she didn't want anymore. I loved this dress straight away, so I ended up buying it from her for a very good price. I'm so happy it ended up fitting me perfectly as well and is still in a very good condition.
I loved the fabric print with the yellow hibiscus flowers on the red background, the buttons down the top-half and the spaghetti straps. This dress also has elastic gathering on the back top-half for extra room, plus also to assist with taking this dress on and off.

Another beautiful summer/tiki inspired dress to add to my collection.
I wore this dress on my day off, to the chemist and to buy some lunch. Plus also to do a few chores and activities at home, for example ironing, listen to some music and social networking (facebook, instagram and blogging).
This dress is by the brand Collectif, which I bought from a fashionable lady I follow on Instagram.
My red flats are from K-mart.
Hibiscus hair-flower is from an ebay seller.
This beautiful red and yellow hibiscus flower in the above photo I came across online, totally matches my red/yellow hibiscus dress by Collectif. https://www.collectif.co.uk/

 Until next time!

Retro Diner Food!

For my outfit of the day post, here I am wearing this cute "diner food" dress by the brand Sourpuss and accessorizing with my cute new milkshake brooch by Erstwiler  http://erstwilder.com/

I bought this dress over a year ago now, I just loved the "diner food" inspired fabric print, the pink Peter-Pan collar and the little pink buttons down the front top-half. It's just such a cute/fun dress to wear. This dress also fits quite well on me, only downside it's a little short for my liking, but great all the same to wear in the spring/summer months.
I wore this dress before starting work in the afternoon/evening, over the weekend and to my local grocery store to buy some food essentials.
This "snack food" dress is by the brand Sourpuss which I bought from their website. http://sourpussclothing.com/
My pink Dr Martens are from ASOS http://www.asos.com/au/?hrd=1
My pink hair-scarf and pink sunglasses are from an ebay seller.
The Erstwiler milkshake brooch is from Vintage Pip   http://www.vintagepip.com.au/
The above photo is so fitting, as I could see myself sitting in a "retro diner" enjoying some snack foods, whilst wearing my "snack food" dress.

Until next time!
