Colourful Flowers!

Today's outfit blog post is about this gorgeous floral dress by the vintage reproduction brand Vivien of Holloway. I'm accessorizing this dress with my faux pearl necklace also from Vivien of Holloway, my floral brooch from a market store holder and my retro Hell Bunny belt.

This dress I bought from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/ website in their "sale" section nearly a year ago now.  I love the floral print all over this dress and how all those bright color's go so well together. Other great features to this dress, it comes with it's own matching bolero, has a bone structure bodice and looks great with or without a petticoat. I find personally wearing Vivien of Holloway pieces that I currently do own, I feel like I'm wearing something that was actually made in the 1950's!
I can wear this dress in both the summer and winter months - in the winter months I just add a cardigan and a pair of leggings/tights like in the photo below.
My dress is from Vivien of Holloway website (find the link above).
My red flats are from Kmart.
The faux pearl necklace is also from Vivien of Holloway.
The red retro belt is from Ruff N Ready http://www.ruffnready.com.au/
Red tights are from Target and my red hair snood is from an ebay seller.
I found this photo online of some bright colourful flowers which I had to share with today's floral outfit blog post!

Until next time!

Alternative Pinup!

Today's outfit blog post is about this poker-dot dress by the popular vintage reproduction brand Hell Bunny. Here I am is these photos accessorizing this dress with my black cat-eye sunglasses, my black gloves and my black floral necklace.

I've owned this dress for a year and a half now (I received it as a Christmas gift). This dress is called Vera. It is a little big on me but I still enjoy wearing this dress from time to time. It's a halter-neck style swing dress, made of a sturdy satin material. I love the purple fabric background and the black poker-dots, I also like the wide black waist band around the front. I'm not really a fan of "darker style" clothing, as I prefer lighter/brighter colors but on occasions I don't mind wearing darker type colors for a change!  I feel quite alternative/gothic wearing this dress and accessories.
My dress (Vera) is by the brand Hell Bunny which is from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook)
My black flats are from Kmart.
The black bolero is from a pre-loved clothing boutique.
Purple tights are from Target.  Black cat-eye sunglasses are from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook).
Black gloves are from Kitten D'amour   http://www.kittendamour.com/  and my black floral necklace is from a local accessories store.
Here is a photo of a gorgeous gothic/alternative pinup model I found online, which I had to post and share on today's outfit "Alternative Pinup" blog post!

Until next time!

Red and Yellow Roses!

Today's outfit blog post is about this colorful dress by the popular reproduction clothing brand Hell Bunny. For these blog photos I'm accessorizing this dress with a cute cardigan, yellow hair-flower and my new bodice brooch by the brand Glitter Paradise. http://glitterparadise.com/

I've own this Mexican 50's Hell Bunny dress for over a year now and I still love to wear it so much! I adore the bright colors, the Mexican and floral style print. I also love the light cotton fabric, the 50's swing style and the skirt length. I'm not overly fussed about halter-neck dresses though but now and again I don't mind wearing that sort of style.
Now it's getting cooler here in Australia I've started wearing some of my cardigans over my dresses and I decided to wear this cute little cardigan over this dress.
The dress is by Hell Bunny which I bought from Atomic Cherry  http://www.atomiccherry.com.au/
My cardigan is from Target.
My wedges are from Rivers   http://www.rivers.com.au/
The yellow hair-flower is from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook) and my yellow sunglasses are from a local accessories boutique.
My new bodice brooch is by the brand Glitter Paradise which I bought from Vintage Pip  http://www.vintagepip.com.au/
Red belt is from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (also find on facebook).
I came across this beautiful photo online of a yellow and red rose and I knew it would go so well with today's blog post.

Until next time!

Elegant Flowers!

Today's outfit blog post is about this lovely floral dress by the vintage reproduction clothing brand Lindybop. I've decided to accessorize this dress with my Paris print handbag and my cat-eye sunglasses.

I bought this dress over a year ago now from an ebay seller, I loved the floral print, the style and cut of this dress. It also has a big bow tie and gathered pleats down from the bow, which is made out of the same print (that's why, it's hard to see) on the side of the waist. I also love the length, my Mum though had to alter the top half of the dress, as it was somewhat big on me in the bust area when I received it and tried it on. Now it's fits really quite well on me.
For these photos I'm also wearing a petticoat underneath, to give the dress more structure and shape.
My dress is by Lindybop and is from an ebay seller.
My black flats are from Kmart.
My Paris print handbag is from a local handbag and luggage boutique.
The petticoat and sunglasses are both from an ebay seller.
The purple tights are from Target.
In the above photo is a beautiful floral tattoo, I found online. I would love a tattoo like this, maybe somewhere on my back! Anyway I thought it fits in with my "elegant flowers" blog post for today.

Until next time!

Pretty Lavender!

Today's outfit blog post is about this pretty dress by the vintage reproduction brand Hell Bunny. I decided to accessorize this dress with my peacock brooch, white straw hat and my white cat-eye sunglasses.

This dress was a birthday gift at the start of the year that I was able to pick out for myself. At first I wasn't sure I wanted this dress, as to me it looked too costume style liked and not actually a 1950's repro dress! But it soon won me over with the lavender color, the little white poker-dots, the heart-shape pockets, the white lace down around the bottom edging of the dress and the ribbon corset-style tie up in the front. This dress is so girly and yet so fun to wear.
Actually when I wore this dress the other day to the shops a lady did asked me if I was off to a fancy dress up party! Which i replied "no, this is how I dress all the time!"
My Oktober dress is by Hell Bunny, which I bought from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook).
My white peep-toe shoes are from Target.
The peacock brooch is from a vintage market store holder.
The white straw hat is also from Target and my white cat-eye sunglasses are from an ebay seller.
In the photo above is such a glorious lavender field. I would love to have photos taken here, whilst wearing my pretty Oktober dress!

Until next time!

Country Living!

Today's outfit blog post is about this beautiful dress by the Australian reproduction clothing brand Retrospec'd  http://retrospecd.com/  and I'm accessorizing this dress with my blue/floral parasol, blue hair-flower and vintage necklace.

I bought this dress from an ebay seller for a very good price. It wasn't until a bit later i found out that I also follow this lovely lady on instagram!
I love the country house and landscape fabric print on this dress, the neckline, the wide waist and the pleated skirt (even though it is annoying to iron). Other positives for this dress is that I love the length and it fits quite well on me. I just wished it had pockets and was lined! But all in all such a perfect dress for me. It also has a back zipper to get in and out of and looks good with or without a petticoat but for today's blog post I'm wearing my blue Hellbunny petticoat underneath.
My dress is by the brand Retrospec'd which I bought from an ebay seller.
My black shoes are from a pre-loved boutique.
The Hell Bunny petticoat is from Gwynnies Emporium  http://gwynnies.com.au/
The blue/floral parasol is from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook).
Blue hair-flower is from a local accessories store and my necklace is true vintage (from an actual accessories vintage store).
In the above photo is such a beautiful country side and fits in perfectly with my country living outfit blog post.

Birds and Flowers

Today's outfit blog post is about this gorgeous combo, which includes this dusty pink embroidered  cardigan by Dangerfield from the Revival collection and my new skirt from the vintage reproduction brand Hellbunny. I decided to accessorize this outfit with my flamingo brooch by Jubly-umph  http://www.jubly-umph.com/  and my pink retro belt also by Hellbunny.

I bought this cardigan a few months back as part of a "2 for 1 sale" at Dangerfield. I also bought two dresses as part of the sale. Which I have blogged about previously here: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/04/vintage-inspired.html  and here: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/04/blue-birds.html. As soon as I saw this cardigan I knew I had to have it's so cute and so me! I love the dusty pink color, the buttons down the front and the embroidered birds and flowers on the front.
I bought this skirt from Gwynnies Emporium about a month ago and I knew straight away this skirt would match my cardigan! I love the birds and flower fabric print over this skirt, the length, the light cotton material and plus this skirt has pockets!
My cardigan is by the Revival collection from Dangerfield http://shop.dangerfield.com.au/
My circle skirt is by Hellbunny which I bought from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
The pink retro belt and my petticoat are both by Hellbunny and also from Gwynnies Emporium.
The Jubly-Umph flamingo brooch I bought from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook)
Saddle shoes are from an ebay seller and my tights are from Target.
I found this lovely artwork online of two little birds sitting on a flower branch, and I had to share as part of today's outfit Birds and Flowers blog post.

All in Blue!

Today's outfit blog post is about this blue with white poker-dots dress by the vintage reproduction clothing brand Hearts and Roses London and I decided to accessorize this dress with my cute retro radio brooch by an Australian business called Deerarrow.

I bought this dress about a year ago now on ebay for a reasonable price. I liked the style of this dress with the circle skirt and the buttons down the front. I also liked the short sleeves and black tulle around the bottom of this dress. Plus the blue material with the white poker-dots over it. This dress also fits well on me and I like the length. It does come with it's own material matching belt but I decided to wear a wider style belt that I own instead. I'm also wearing a white petticoat underneath, in these photos.
My dress is by the brand Hearts and Roses London which I bought from an ebay seller.
My navy blue shoes are from Rivers   http://www.rivers.com.au/

Apple Red!

Today's outfit blog post is about this lovely apple print dress by the vintage reproduction brand Hell Bunny and I decided to accessorize this dress with my vintage wicker purse and my red cloche hat that I found on ebay.

This Hell Bunny green Francine apple print dress I've owned for nearly a year now, I love the apple and floral print, the little white & gold buttons down the front top-half and the white lacy collar. The dress is made out of a very light cotton fabric (great for the warmer months) and I also like the length and it does fit well on me. Only downside is the neck-line is somewhat high and at times it does get annoying as I have to pull the dress down of my neck. But still I do love this dress, such a great 1940's inspired frock.
My dress is by the brand Hell Bunny which I bought from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (you can find on facebook).
My wicker purse I bought from a market store holder called Cherry Bay Fabulous (also find on facebook)
The red heel sandals are from an ebay seller.
The red cloche hat is also bought from an ebay seller.
I love this red apple purse (I've seen a few of the ladies I follow on instagram, holding onto it in their posts) I can see it matching my Hell Bunny apple print dress quite nicely.

All The Cherries!

As soon as I saw this gorgeous dress online by the vintage reproduction brand Collectif, I knew I had to have it! As I do love a cherry design/print! I'm also accessorizing this dress with my Sourpuss "cherry print" purse, which I received as a Christmas (2014) gift.

This dress is beautifully designed, it's made of a light chiffon material and is fully lined. Other great features this dress has cute pearl buttons down the front, has a matching belt and the collar is ruffled. I also love the length and it fits me perfectly.
A great dress to wear throughout the year, I can wear it with a cardigan and tights/leggings in the colder months.
My dress is by the brand Collectif which I bought from an ebay seller.

Vintage Inspired!

Today's blog post is about this pretty vintage inspired dress by an Australian store called Dangerfield http://shop.dangerfield.com.au/ this dress is from the Revival collection. I decided to accessorize this dress with my pretty floral brooch.

I bought this dress about a month ago, at the time Dangerfield were having a sale (buy 2, get 1 free), so I bought 2 dresses and a short sleeve cardigan. I just loved the design and style, the green colour and the embroidered flowers, it really reminded me of a true 50's vintage dress, even though it's actually an a reproduction one! Another plus this dress is also lined, inside the skirt part.
I wore this dress out for an haircut and to lunch with my Mum, sister and my Aunty.
My dress is from an Australian retro inspired company called Dangerfield.
My silver flats are from Rivers  http://www.rivers.com.au/
Hair-flower is from a local accessories boutique.

Rockabilly Style!

Today's blog post is all about this rockabilly style number from the alternative brand Sourpuss Clothing.  Plus I'm accessorizing this outfit with my new radio brooch from the Australian brand Deerarrow.

This dress truly started my love for rockabilly/pinup/alternative/vintage style outfits and accessories. I bought this dress to award my self for losing weight, from then my collection for vintage reproduction brands of clothing grew!
This dress is so cute, I love the style, the white buttons down the front, the red waist band and the little white skull on the top corner. Only negatives for me it's a little short for my taste (but great to wear in the hotter/summer months) and a bit tight in the waist area (because of Sourpuss smaller makes/sizes). But I still enjoy wearing it!
I wore this dress after working half days, to relax and chill out after finishing my shift at work.
This dress is by the brand Sourpuss Clothing which I bought online from Atomic Cherry http://www.atomiccherry.com.au/
My T.U.K creepers I bought from the T.U.K website http://www.tukshoes.com/
This cute retro radio brooch is from the Australian brand Deerarrow http://www.deerarrow.com/
My cat eye sunglasses are from Cherry Bay Fabulous (please find on facebook)
This gorgeous model in the above photo, is such an inspiration for a lot of ladies and myself and their rockabilly fashion style!

Bouquet of Flowers!

Today's blog post is all about this pretty floral dress by the vintage reproduction brand Hearts and Roses London. Plus I'm accessorizing this dress with my "ladies, sitting in a cafe" handbag.

I love the pink floral print on this dress, the length, the light cotton material and the mid-width straps. Such a great dress to wear in the hotter spring/summer months. But I could also wear it, in the cooler months with a cardigan and with a pair of tights/leggings.  This dress, doesn't come with it's own belt, but I prefer to wear it with one of my belt's I own for a better fit & shape.
I wore this dress out to lunch with my family and on my last day of holidays, before going back to work!
The floral dress is by Hearts and Roses London which I bought from Poison Kandy Klothing  http://www.poisonkandyklothing.com.au/
My silver flats are from Rivers http://www.rivers.com.au/
My handbag is from a local clothing and accessories boutique.
Sunglasses are from a local pre-loved boutique. White belt is from another dress I own.
In the above photo I came across this beautiful bouquet of pink flowers online, I just thought, they're practically match my floral dress, what you think?

A Floral Garden!

Today's blog post is all about this beautiful floral print dress by the vintage reproduction brand Voodoo Vixen, whilst in my photos I'm accessorizing this dress with my blue/floral parasol.

This dress is really great to wear in the spring/summer months. Because of the shorter length (then some other pinup/rockabilly style dresses I own) and the light cotton material. I love the floral print on the light blue background, plus I love the gathering in the bust and waist area. Such a really pretty/girly dress to wear. There are no zips in this dress, but because of the elastic style rouging on the back of this dress, makes it easier to get in and out off.
I wore this dress to visit a friend for a coffee and to see my cousin and her family.
My dress is by the brand Voodoo Vixen which I bought online from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
My floral parasol I bought from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook)
My blue sandals are from Target.
The hair scarf I got from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/  that came with another dress.
The beautiful floral garden - in the above photo, I could see myself having some photos taken, whilst wearing this pretty floral dress by Voodoo Vixen!

Basket of Fruit!

For my outfit of the day blog post, here I am wearing this beautiful fruit basket dress by the Australian vintage reproduction brand Retrospec'd, whilst accessorizing with my cherry handbag by the brand Sourpuss.

This dress has quickly become a favorite of mine, I really love the colors, the fruit fabric print and the style and shape. I also love the length of the dress with the box pleats and the light cotton material. Another bonus is that the dress has pockets and also came with a matching belt, all though in these photos I'm wearing another belt instead, just for a change.
I wore this dress out for dinner and drinks with my girlfriends and also out to lunch with another friend of mine.

This dress is very topical and pinup/tiki inspired, great to wear in the summer months. I love the pink hibiscus print and the style of this beautiful and well constructed made dress. This dress is lined and comes with a matching belt. Such a gorgeous dress to wear and fits very well on me.

Retrospec'd

This blog post is my review on the Australian vintage reproduction brand named Retrospec'd.

Retrospec'd are based in Australia, with all their clothing actually being Australian made. This wonderful brand sells dresses, skirts, tops and blouses, knitwear, pants and shorts, pyjamas and petticoats. Plus some menswear. You can purchase their fashion items from their official website which is http://retrospecd.com/ or from time to time ebay, or from some rockabilly/pinup/vintage inspired stores and boutiques that stock and sell this brand.

I have been wanting to buy myslef something beautiful from Retrospec'd for a while now, but it wasn't until recently that I currently now own two dresses from this brand. The first I actually purchased just before Christmas from an ebay seller for a very good price. It had previously been worn just a few times, so was still in a very good condition. This dress is called Vivian country life dress.
Vivian country life.

I really love the design and style of this dress. Also the country life print on it, so beautiful!

This dress fits me really well. It has a back zipper to get in and out of. I also love the lightness of the cotton twill fabric.

It's a full circle skirt, with many pleats. I do love the pleats, but it's a pain to iron!

Myself styling this beautiful dress.

So far I have found Retrospec'd garments to be of a high quality, with their items being unique, beautiful and staying true to the 1940's/50's style. Prices are on the higher end scale though, usually between $180 - $200 for a full-priced dress but from time to time, there are good bargains to be found especially in their "sale" section or from ebay or from other stores that may stock some of their dresses/clothing etc.

The next dress I ended up putting on lay-by from an Australian boutique called Miskonduct Klothing  http://www.miskonduct.com/  this dress is called Betty Fruit basket.
Betty fruit basket

Once again I really love the design and style of this dress as well. The fruit fabric print and coloring is so beautiful.

This dress has box pleats and the skirt is not as full as the above dress. I love the light cotton twill fabric, so comfortable and also fits quite well.

It also has pockets, comes with a matching belt and has a back zipper to get in and out of. Plus the low-cut back...perfect!!

Here I am styling this perfect dress.
Their sizing is quite different especially for each style and design of dress, so do make sure you follow the actual sizing guide that's up on the website for each garment piece and that you know your exact measurements if buying online.

I would highly recommend anything from the Australian brand Retrospec'd to any lady or man who loves wearing vintage inspired clothing.

Until next time!
