Hi all!
How was you're weekend? On Friday night my husband and I went out for dinner, that we both really enjoyed together after each having a long week at work! On Saturday, we both cleaned up our little flat and my husband took some photos of me for an upcoming blog post. On Sunday it was Father's Day here in Australia, my husband and I went out for lunch with my husband's adult children and their partners. We all went to a 1950's inspired diner called in Maryborough Queensland called Happy Days! Anyway nearly half-way through another working week!
For this blog post I'm reviewing this gorgeous red dress by The Pretty Dress Company it's called
Suzy Midi Dress in red. As well as this red colour, there are other colour ways to choose from such as ivory, pale blue, pale pink and orange. I'm wearing a size 18 and this dress fits like a dream. There are some sizes left to choose from in all of the Suzy Midi Dresses. Just follow the size guide to get you're best fit. They are currently on "sale" and I was able to purchase this dress for a great "on sale" price! Red is one of my favourite colours to wear and I adore the style, so I just had to purchase this stunning dress to wear! This dress has a hidden back zip to get in and out of, hidden pockets and a full circle skirt. Other great features is the V-neck, the fitted bodice and the shirt collar. It's also fully lined and the material is made from a stretch luxe crepe fabric.
You could wear a petticoat to give extra full-ness to the skirt, but I choose not to for these photos.
The Pretty Dress Company is slowly becoming one of my favourite vintage inspired brands to wear. Mainly because all their garments are extremely well designed and constructed.
Accessories Include:
Red boater hat by Morgan and Taylor
Brooch by Erstwilder
Bangles and Earrings by Splendette
Red flats by Bettie Page Footwear and ordered via Nicole Jade Boutique
Red Handbag by Pinup Girl Clothing
These blog photos we're taken by my wonderful husband at Brooklyn House in a little country town called Howard in Queensland.
It's a lovely historic Queenslander house that was built in 1890. The current owners open their house for tours and Devonshire tea and scones on a regular basis. I have previously taken my own blog photos at Brooklyn House a few years ago.
This time around it was so much easier having my husband take the photos for me, instead of me doing it myself!
Until next time!
