Colourful Flowers!

Today's outfit blog post is about this gorgeous floral dress by the vintage reproduction brand Vivien of Holloway. I'm accessorizing this dress with my faux pearl necklace also from Vivien of Holloway, my floral brooch from a market store holder and my retro Hell Bunny belt.

This dress I bought from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/ website in their "sale" section nearly a year ago now.  I love the floral print all over this dress and how all those bright color's go so well together. Other great features to this dress, it comes with it's own matching bolero, has a bone structure bodice and looks great with or without a petticoat. I find personally wearing Vivien of Holloway pieces that I currently do own, I feel like I'm wearing something that was actually made in the 1950's!
I can wear this dress in both the summer and winter months - in the winter months I just add a cardigan and a pair of leggings/tights like in the photo below.
My dress is from Vivien of Holloway website (find the link above).
My red flats are from Kmart.
The faux pearl necklace is also from Vivien of Holloway.
The red retro belt is from Ruff N Ready http://www.ruffnready.com.au/
Red tights are from Target and my red hair snood is from an ebay seller.
I found this photo online of some bright colourful flowers which I had to share with today's floral outfit blog post!

Until next time!

Cherry Delicious!

Today's outfit blog post is about these two separate pieces, my black fluffy jumper from Kmart and my new cherry print Jenny skirt from the popular reproduction vintage inspired brand Pinup Girl Clothing  http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/.  In these photos I'm accessorizing my outfit with my new Gypsy rose heels from the brand Lucky Lou Shoes and my Sourpuss Clothing cherry necklace and hair-scarf.

My black fluffy jumper I bought from Kmart a couple of months ago, as I thought it would go well with some of my skirts/pants plus keep me warm in the winter months here in Australia.
This cherry print Jenny Skirt from the brand Pinup Girl Clothing, I bought from a facebook buy, sell and swap group, from a lady who didn't want this skirt anymore! I knew I had to buy it from her. I love this skirt so much, I adore the cherry print and the red/black/green colours. So you can mix and match a few different colour tops/blouses with this skirt.  This is my third Jenny skirt so far, they are my favorite pinup inspired skirts, as they are made of a sturdy cotton fabric, are awesome to wear with or without a petticoat and great to wear in the summer/winter months.
My black fluffy jumper is from Kmart.
My cherry print skirt is by the brand Pinup Girl Clothing which I bought from a facebook group.
The Gypsy Rose heels are from the brand Lucky Lou Shoes http://www.luckyloushoes.com/
The red belt is from Pinup Girl Clothing, which I bought from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook).
Cherry necklace and hair-scarf are both from Sourpuss Clothing http://sourpussclothing.com/
Above is a photo of a whole lot of cherries which I found online and wanted to share, for today's Cherry Delicious outfit blog post!

Until next time!

1940's Look!

Today's outfit blog post is about these two separate pieces, my vintage blouse and my high waisted jeans by the vintage reproduction clothing brand Freddies of Pinewood http://www.freddiesofpinewood.co.uk/.  With this outfit I'm accessorizing with my Luxulite brooch and my hair scarf by the brand Sourpuss Clothing.

This vintage blouse I found at a vintage clothing yard sale, I love the color and the frilly tie, which buttons up around the collar.
I love these Freddies of Pinewood jeans, as they look and feel like I'm actually wearing 1940's/50's style jeans and they're so comfortable to wear and it's a fun change from wearing skirts/dresses. I mainly wear jeans/long pants in the winter/cooler months, as summer in Queensland can be very hot and humid, so wearing jeans is not such a good idea.
My blouse is from a vintage clothing yard sale.
My Jeans are by the brand Freddies of Pinewood which I bought from Ruff n Ready http://www.ruffnready.com.au/
Cherry print Mary-Jane shoes are by the brand Hot Chocolate Design which I bought from Beserk http://www.beserk.com.au/
Brooch is by the brand Luxulite  https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/Luxulite
Hair-scarf is by the brand Sourpuss Clothing which I bought from an ebay seller.
I found this photo online of ladies in the 1940's wearing pants/jeans and thought I would post on today's blog post to go with my 1940's Look outfit.

Until next time!
