Getting to know Colour Me Bristol!

Here is my next blogger friend and one of my favorite style bloggers I enjoy reading and following.  I would love to introduce Colour Me Bristol to you all!
I've been following this lovely lady's blog for around one year now and I've been following her instagram profile for around two years! I adore her style so much, Miss Bristol's style is always so bright, colourful and fun! Also her kitschy accessories are always so wonderful and on point!  As your going to see in these photos of the gorgeous Miss Bristol!
Question:  How did you come up with the name Colour Me Bristol for your blog?
I had a hard time coming up with a name! But, I wanted to pick something that really expressed my love of colour, since it plays a huge part in my life! My wardrobe and my apartment are covered in colour. I've always been drawn to bright colours/rainbow colour schemes, since I was a child.

Question:   Please describe your blogging style?
My blogging style is pretty simple. I always post outfit photos, and talk a bit about my outfit, and also a bit about what's going on in my life at the moment.
Question:  What inspired you to start blogging?
When I started coming across blogs, I really enjoyed reading them. They made me want to start my own, because no one in the area I live in dresses anything like me. The blogs I read inspired me, and made me feel less alone. I wanted an outlet to express my style!

 Question:  Describe your fashion sense/style?
My fashion sense/style is what I call "1950's rainbow brite", ha. I am very drawn to full skirts, bright colours and fun novelty prints, fun accessories and bright shoes. I have tons of different novelty printed dresses and skirts. I am very drawn to fun, bright novelty prints. I feel very confident in my clothing. I know the way I dress now is the best way I've ever dressed in my life, and it just makes me so "me", and makes me feel so good.
Question:  Do you have any favorite bloggers and if so can you name a few?
I really enjoy reading: Sara Lily's blog (http://saralilyphoto.blogspot.com), Ashely's blog (http://www.southerncabelle.com), June Bugs and Georgia Peaches's blog (http://junebugsandgeorgiapeaches.blogspot.com), Miss Victory Violet's blog (http://www.missvictoryviolet.com/), Christina's blog (http://silvercatteaparty.blogspot.com), Lauren's blog (http://www.prefertobedemure.com), and your blog, of course!

Question:  What can your readers/followers expect from you and your blog over the next 12 months?
Just more of the same, ha! :) I don't have any plans as of yet to change up the format of my blog. Just expect tons of bright coloured outfits, with lots of novelty prints!! I've been blogging for three years now, and the way I have been doing it still works for me.

Balinese Gardens!

I bought this dress earlier in the new year from Stars and Swallows from a recent "sale" they had.
This dress is called The Ella Tiki dress by Steady Clothing
Which comes in two colour ways the red and black, I chose the black one! This dress is made out of 100% cotton, whilst the colour material is made out of a rayon/polyester/spandex mix and is made in the USA.  I found this dress has a lot of stretch, so is quite comfortable to wear and fits to my figure nicely.
The strapless bodice is quite snug and has hidden plastic boning for extra support, this frock also has a hidden back zipper. I love the colourful hibiscus and tropical plants over the front faux wrap of this dress and the sarong/wrap style. Such a great dress to wear in the summer/warmer months to try and stay cool.
I believe this dress on the Steady Clothing website has been discontinued. However Stars and Swallows still have some sizes left in both the red and black colour way but are back to full-retail price!

Accessories included:
Vintage wicker purse
Pink wedges are from Payless Australia
Orchid hair-flower from Stars and Swallows
Bamboo tiki bangles from Cherry Bay Fabulous
Pink pastel gumball necklace from Your one stop pinup shop
Sunglasses are from Colette by Colette Hayman

These beautiful tropical theme gardens I took my blog photos at is actually a private residence gardens called Bumble Bee Hillside Gardens here is the website link: http://bumblebeegardens.com.au/
Bumble Bee Hillside Gardens are located near Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia. You are able to hire out these beautiful theme gardens for any special photo moments for example for weddings, graduation, naming ceremony and vow renewal. As well as the tropical/Balinese style gardens, there is also rustic style gardens and cottage gardens which I had the pleasure by the owner to be shown around!
I highly recommend these gardens to have your special theme photos taken in!  I hope I'm able to visit these stunning gardens again in the near future!
