Today's outfit blog post is about this Burlesque inspired outfit. Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my pink hibiscus hair-flower and my pink cat-eye faux glasses.
My tee is from the rockabilly vintage brand Lucky 13, which I bought from a facebook rockabilly clothing group. As soon as I bought this top I knew it would pair nicely with my Pinup Girl Clothing Burlesque performer print jenny skirt. This skirt I bought from the Pinup Girl Clothing website, when they were having a "sale" last year. I really love this skirt, when I saw it coming soon on the website I knew I had to own it! So when a "sale" came up, I quickly bought it for myself.
I love the heavy cotton fabric and the print with the yellow haired lady doing a "Burlesque" strip-tease around the skirt. I also love the colors of black, blue, pink and yellow, so many tops/blouses you can match this skirt with.
The tee is from the brand Lucky 13: http://www.lucky13.com/ which I bought from a facebook group.
The Burlesque Performer skirt is by the brand Pinup Girl Clothing which I bought from their website: http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/
My pink Dr Martens boots are from ASOS: http://www.asos.com/au/
My pink retro belt is from Your One Stop Pinup Shop: http://www.yosps.com.au/
My pink hibiscus hair-flower is from Soda Sweethearts: https://www.etsy.com/shop/sodasweethearts
Pink cat-eye sunglasses were from an ebay seller and the petticoat is by the brand Hell Bunny.
In the above photo is my gorgeous friend Rita Fontaine, she ended up winning the title of Miss Burlesque Australia 2010! As well as being a burlesque performer, Rita is also a Mistress of Ceremonies, a Storyteller and Comedian.

Until next time!

Pink French Chic!
Today's outfit blog post is about this cute "Kitty Day" dress by the vintage reproduction clothing brand Vivien of Holloway. I'm accessorizing this dress with my Erstwilder "Paige the prancing pink poodle" brooch and my French pink Beret.
I bought this dress over six months ago now from the Vivien of Holloway website in their "sale" section.
I love the style and design of this dress, it really feels like I'm wearing a true 1940s/50s dress. I also love the buttons down the front top-half, the pockets, the collar, the floral/gingham pattern, the longer length and the cotton fabric. I find though I have to wear a belt with this dress to give it more shape and to define my waist more.
My dress is by the brand Vivien of Holloway bought from their website: http://www.vivienofholloway.com/
My pink shoes are from Target.
Erstwilder pink poodle brooch is from Woolloongabba Antique Centre: http://www.woolloongabbaantiquecentre.com/
The pink belt is by Hell Bunny which was bought from Gwynnies Emporium: http://gwynnies.com.au/ and the pink beret is from an ebay seller.
I found this clip-art picture online and thought it is very appropriate for today's "Pink French Chic" blog post!
Until next time!
