Sunflowers in Winter!

For the past week, I've been unwell with a cold/flu, this is the second one this year already! Last year I escaped from being sick, not this year though! I've recently taken 2 days of work, I wish I could have taken more but can't afford to take extra days off unfortunately, just have to keep going on.

Wearing this bright and colorful dress, helps me feel somewhat better! I have blog this dress before in a previous outfit blog post this is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/beautiful-sunflowers.html
This is my favorite dress by the brand Hell Bunny that I currently own, I love the sunflowers and daisy print over this dress and the colors. I added a white cardigan, as it was a little cool on this day I took these blog photos!
What I'm wearing:
Hell Bunny dress is from Off Ya Tree http://www.offyatree.com.au/
Cardigan is from Target.
Sandals are from Novo http://www.novoshoes.com.au/
Betty Jo Sparrow Brooch is by Erstwilder and is from an ebay seller.
Sunglasses are from a local accessories boutique and my yellow hair-flower is from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook).
I had to take photos of myself with this piece of artwork of a vase of sunflowers, as I knew it would match nicely with my gorgeous Sunflower print dress!

Until next time!

Sparrows and Sugar Skulls!

Today's outfit blog post is about this novelty printed dress by the alternative apparel brand Banned. I'm accessorizing this dress with my sparrow embroidered cardigan and sunglasses by the vintage reproduction brand Collectif https://www.collectif.co.uk/  and my red beads and hair-snood.

I bought this dress over a year ago now from an ebay seller, I love the sparrow's and cherry red-sugar skulls print over this dress, such a great rockabilly inspired dress! This dress has off the shoulder sleeves and also ties up on both shoulders. It also a black wide waist band and zips up on one side to get in and out off. A great dress to wear in the warmer and the cooler months with a cardigan and a pair of tights, like I'm wearing in these blog photos. This cardigan from Collectif, matches so well with this dress too.
My dress is by the brand Banned and is from an ebay seller.
My cardigan is by the brand Collectif which I bought from That Shop (find on facebook)
The suglasses are also by the brand Collectif which I bought from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Shoes are from Rivers http://www.rivers.com.au/ and tights are from a local accessories boutique.
The red beads are from Woolloongabba Antique Centre. http://www.woolloongabbaantiquecentre.com/
The hair snood is also from an ebay seller.
The above photo is my second tattoo of a sparrow with two cherries in it's beak which is on the left side of my upper chest area. Thought I would share it with today's outfit blog post!

Until next time!

I love Erstwilder brooches

My love for Erstwilder brooches began at the start of the year after seeing lots of ladies on instagram wearing them and thinking to myself how cute and unique they are!
This is the official website:
http://erstwilder.com/
But you can buy any of the items from numerous online/actual clothing and accessories boutiques and from ebay. Just "Google" - Erstwilder!

As well as this brand designing and selling layered resin brooches they also sell necklaces, rings and earrings.
The Erstwilder collection is designed in Melbourne. Originally by a lady named Louisa Camille, but due to the high growing demand of this brand - there has recently been an expansion and now there is a design team of three.

All of the items are inspired for women who love rockabilly, vintage and retro fashions and accessories.
Most of these designs are animals/birds/reptiles etc.

February this year I bought my Mum a peacock brooch, as my Mum loves anything to do with peacocks!
I bought the brooch from a rockabilly/pinup fashion boutique called - "your one stop pinup shop" This is their offical website: http://youronestoppinupsho.photium.com/
.

This is the peacock design brooch I bought for my Mum.
Earlier this year I found and bought my very own first Erstwilder brooch, from a vintage/retro fair, that visited the town, where I live. The brooch is a red cat design, I had to buy it, as I love cats and the color red!

This is the cat brooch and me wearing and personally styling this.

The second Erstwilder brooch I found and bought was from ebay, is a sparrow design, I love the colors, and I thought that it is very rockabilly and retro!

This is the sparrow brooch and me wearing and personally styling it.
The most recent Erstwilder brooch I've bought was from the "Woolloongabba Antique Centre" in Brisbane, Queensland. This is their website:http://www.woolloongabbaantiquecentre.com/  This brooch is a very cute poodle design which I also had to buy! As I knew it would go well with some of my Paris print clothing.

This is the poodle brooch and again me wearing and styling it.

The brooch in the photo below in the only other Erstwilder brooch at this stage I have considered on buying is the flamingo design one, again to go with some of my flamingo print clothing!

I would highly recommend on buying yourself one of the Erstwilder accessory design items because of their high quality, and for the designs being so cute and unique!

Do you own anything from the Erstwilder collection?

Until next time!
