This gorgeous floral dress that I received to blog is by an Australian ladies clothing business called Siren Clothing
Siren Clothing is the creation of Rebecca Brimblecombe, who works from her studio near Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Rebecca began her career in fashion in 1980, when she graduated with
Distinction in Fashion Design from the prestigious London College of
Fashion and launched the very first incarnation of the Siren label
(simply called Siren) with a collection of body-con dresses and
separates at Camden Market.
From there she bought her fashion business "Siren" to Sydney, Australia in 1985 and changed the name to "Siren London" and her brand received an overwhelming response throughout Australia.
In 2001 Rebecca opened and operate her stall "Siren Clothing" at the Eumundi markets, which are located at the Sunshine Coast hinterlands. In 2013 she made a permanent move to a shop at Eumundi Square, just
across the road from the famous Eumundi Market's, which opens every
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
After more than 31 years as the designer and owner of Siren
Clothing, Rebecca continues to draw on her wealth of experience in
expert pattern-making technique and is still filled with same passion
for creating her own unique styles. To cater for all women who love to wear beautiful vintage inspired dresses and clothing.
This beautiful dress is called Peekaboo Dress - Climbing Rose. I adore the floral design on the cream background! Other wonderful features is the scoop neckline with the "peekaboo" cut out with a bow tie. This dress also comes with a matching fabric belt. It's has a full pleated A-line skirt, that I'm able to wear a full petticoat underneath for extra shape and structure.
There is also a low scoop back and a invisible zip closure in the middle of the back. It's made from 97% cotton sateen and 3% spandex. Sizes range from XS to XL, I ordered size Large and it fits my measurements wonderfully. Get in contact with Rebecca if you wish to find out your exact size if ordering online. Which I highly recommend that you do order yourself something real special from her! This exact dress is currently listed to buy for $135.00 (AUS).

These photos were taken by Vera Gin Vintage (aka Miss Vera Vamp) at a Lavender farm in Bundaberg, Queensland called Amandine Lavender
Even though we didn't take any photos around the lavender flowers, there were many other lovely backdrops to take our photos in front of!
In other news I had a full-on but fun weekend at the second annual Rockin Maryborough Vintage Festival
I got all dolled up and attended a Vintage style ball on Friday night. On Saturday myself and other beautiful pinups checked the festival out which included the vintage cars, caravans and bikes, a couple of markets, rock and roll bands, enjoying refreshments and food at local cafes.
On Saturday night there was a pinup pageant that myself, my Mum and my sister enjoyed watching. After that there was a rockin dance party that I attended and have a great time at. Sunday morning there was a pooch parade, I checked out another rockabilly band and had high tea with the Miss Rockin Maryborough Pinup finalists.
My friend Vera Gin Vintage (Miss Vera Vamp) won Runners Up in the pinup pageant out of 11 other pinups. She actually wasn't very well all weekend, as she just had an operation a couple of days before the festival. So she did very well to receive that title, even when she definitely was not feeling 100%!
Until next time!
