Feeling Elegant!

This gorgeous dress I'm featuring on my blog this week is by U.S.A brand Unique Vintage.
I ordered through an Australian rockabilly and pinup clothing business called Aunty Charmings Rockabilly
This dress is called the Pink Embroidered Garden State Mesh Cocktail Dress. I purchased this dress through Aunty Charmings for $130 (Aus). It comes in sizes XS to 3XL.  At the moment Unique Vintage has this exact same dress on sale for $74 (US) in most sizes.
This dress is made from 100% polyamide and is fully lined and has a tulle underlay. It actually has no stretch at all, please follow the sizing measurements for the correct fit.
It also has a back zipper and hook closure.  The zipper got stuck and was quite hard to zip up (I'm thinking because of the mesh/stiff layering and boning) this can be quite frustrating, but once zipped up this dress fits like a dream.  The bodice and cup is softly boned and supported.  I love the pleating throughout the bodice and the sleeves, they can be pulled up over the shoulders or down over the upper arms.  The full gathered skirt has an inbuilt tulle underlay, I chose not to wear a petticoat underneath, even though one could defiantly be worn to give the skirt a more of a "full look".
It's such a visually stunning dress with the light pink mesh and with the embroidered little flowers all over.
Accessories Include:
Shoes from Bait Footwear
Vintage Wicker bag from a facebook seller
Vintage Hat from The Vintage Hat Shop
Earrings from Revere Folie
Braclets from various boutiques
Pearl necklace was gifted
This week's blog photos were taken by my Mum at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens in Victoria, Queensland.
The gardens were a perfect backdrop for these photos.  With the stunning green manicured lawns and flower beds/gardens, statues, cute little buildings and the lovely big shady trees.
We took these photos around 6:30pm in the evening and there was still quite a bit of daylight and lots of people still walking around the gardens and playing cricket in the park.
In other news last weekend I had a quiet one, doing some general chores at home and taking more photos for my blog.
This weekend my friend Michelle aka Miss Vera Vamp is visiting and helping me to take more photos for my blog - heads up I have a big blog post coming up from a particular  UK vintage inspired company, that I'm looking forward to sharing with you all in the near future!

Until next time!
