Jungle Jumpsuit!

A little while ago Swedish based vintage/retro clothing inspired company Emmy Design had a Mid-Summer sale. So I bought this wonderful overalls/jumpsuit to wear.
I've been wanting to buy from this brand for quite some time, but because their clothing is on the upper price scale, I haven't had the chance to do so, so when this great sale came up, I took the plunge and ordered the Jungle Journey Overalls. I love the navy blue background and the white floral print.
This jumpsuit is so comfortable to wear, it's made from 97% cotton and 3% spandex.  I ordered size 44 from their own sizing, which fits my measurements very well, I just followed their sizing chart to get the right fit for me.
Currently this jumpsuit is listed on Emmy's website for 79.92 pounds or $140 (Australian dollars)
This jumpsuit came with a red braided faux leather belt and has belt lops around the waist on the jumpsuit. To get in and out off, there are cute little navy buttons that go all the way down the front. Also there is a three inch bottom hem, which can be easily lengthened or shorted, depending on your height. So this jumpsuit is great for both short or tall women.
There are two chest pockets, two side seam pockets and two decorative back pockets.  It also has pleats in the front and back and short puffy sleeves with a cuffed hem.
I highly recommend this jumpsuit/overalls as they are very well designed and constructed and so comfortable, yet stylish to wear.

In these blog photos also, is my new handbag from Vendula London which is the shoe box bag, which I bought on "sale" unfortunately both the red/black and pink/black handbags in this exact design are now out of stock.  I love the front of this bag, which resembles a store front, with all styles of shoes to look at in the two front windows.  On the back there is a lady with her shopping bags walking across Abbey Road with her adorable poodle.
This bag is fully lined with exclusive London print fabric, has three separate interior compartments. Two inside zip pockets and one external back zip pocket.  There is a detachable/adjustable shoulder strap. Even when I do adjust the strap it's still quite long, which I was quite surprise by, as I've never had handbag straps that long before.
The dimensions are Height: 21cm  Width:  24.5 cm and Depth: 7.5 cm
Accessories Include:
Shoes from Novo Shoes Australia
Erstwilder red cat brooch from an ebay seller.
Red cat-eye sunglasses from a rockabilly market stall.
Red hair-flower, earrings and bangles are from numerous accessories boutiques.
These blog photos were taken at a historical village in the town of Childers, Queensland by my friend and follow blogger Vera Gin Vintage.  The historical village has some old style wagons (as in these photos), some old buildings e.g. a little cottage, school and a shop and a old style train.  Vera Gin also took photos of me in another outfit at this same location (which I'll blog about soon, down the track).
In other news there is only a few days left until myself and Vera Vamp go to the annual rockabilly festival in Brisbane, Queensland called Greazefest Kustom Kulture Festival, which runs for a whole weekend, we plan to go both Saturday and Sunday.  Also we are both in the pinups on parade on the Saturday, showing off our own personal pinup/vintage style with other beautiful and stylish pinups ladies.

A beautiful picture of myself and a short story was in my local paper just recently, promoting both my pinup/vintage style and Greazefest.  I believe I'm also going to be in tomorrow's paper as well!  I'm quite excited and happy to be featured in the local paper!
I will let you all know next week how I go regarding this fun weekend at Greazefest!

Until next time!
