Care Bears!

Hi everyone!

How's you're week going so far?
On Sunday my husband and I went to a couple of shops to buy a few things and then that afternoon, my wonderful husband took photos of me for a couple of future blog posts!
This week I've just been working (I work in aged care) and I've posted a couple of dresses and a couple pairs of shoes that I don't wear anymore of to their new owners.
What are you're plans for this coming weekend?
On Saturday, my husband and I will do our fortnightly grocery shopping and on Sunday we have been invited to a BBQ lunch with some family.
This week I'm featuring this super cute Care Bears skirt by U.S. vintage inspired clothing brand Unique Vintage
I purchased this skirt through Australian rockabilly/pinup and vintage inspired clothing company Lana Rose Fashion unfortunely this exact skirt is now sold out!
Care Bears are so popular now, with many companies releasing Care Bear featured clothing, bags, shoes, brooches, etc.  They are so adorable and they remind me of my 1980's childhood growing up with my favourite toys of Care Bears, Barbie's and Cabbage Patch Dolls!
I'm wearing size 1XL it's a little big on my waist, but I prefer that then it being tight and uncomfortable to wear.
I just adore the Care Bears dancing in roller skates around the hem of this gathered swing skirt.  I also love the stars and balloons floating on the black background.
Other features of this skirt is that is has a side zipper with a button enclosure. It has hidden pockets and is made of 100% polyester.  This skirt is unlined and has no stretch.
I recently purchased some new Care Bear brooches and a hair-scarf by Australian company Erstwilder  I'm looking forward to matching my new brooches and scarf with this skirt and with other dresses, skirts of mine!
Accessories Include:
Hair Turban-Scarf and Hair Foodle by Catch a Thief
Bangles and Earrings by Splendette
Care Bear Brooch from Miss Cherry Bay
Shoes are from Charlie Stone Shoes
Care Bears are from Big W
These photos we're taken by my supportive husband at my Mum's house in Maryborough, Queensland.  My Mum has recently sold this house and my sister and my Mum have now moved into a lovely house in Bundaberg, Queensland.
I'll miss taking photos and visiting my Mum and sister at this house but I'm looking forward to visiting them again soon at their new home!

Until next time!
