Another holiday outfit and Greazefest Part 2

This cute dress by the UK brand Voodoo Vixen I have blogged previously before this is the link if you wish to have a look: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/kitty-cat.html
I wore this dress out to have a hair-cut, to run some errands and also to have a coffee with my Mum.
I love the pink fabric background colour, the cute black cats print, the cut-out neckline and the front little pockets.  I've always find I can style this dress a number of different ways, either wearing a black, white or pink belt, with or without a petticoat and with or without leggings/tights or a jacket/cardigan.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my leopard print tights, my black peep-toe wedges, my cat earrings (a gift from my cousin), a white long-sleeve top and my pink Sun Jellies handbag.
For the second day at Greazefest, I meet up with my close friend.  Her band The Sugarshakers were playing a set in the morning, which I ended up watching. After her band had finished their set, my friend and I spent most of the day together, which was so great.
This is a photo of The Sugarshakers above that I took a photo off.  After watching The Sugarshakers perform, my friend and I had something to drink and eat, then we checked out a pinup parade, then looked around at the markets/store holders, watched the dancing and listened to some more bands.  I meet quite a number of people that my friend knows through her rockabilly band and burlesque shows my friend performs/MC's for.
It was such another wonderful day!
This gorgeous dress that I received a lot of comments on, is called The Evelyn dress in Mary Blair Umbrellas print by Pinup Girl Clothing.  I totally adore this dress, hands down is probably a favorite of mine in my wardrobe for sure.

Until next time!

Start of holidays and Greazefest Part 1

I wore this outfit on the first day of my holidays, which is a dress by the UK vintage reproduction brand Lindybop, I have blogged about this dress before this is the link, if you like to have a look: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2015/04/1950s-diner.html
I wore this dress out to the shops to run errands with my Mum and sister, we also had a lovely morning tea together at a little cafe.
This dress is very rockabilly inspired, with the red colour fabric and the leopard print front buttons, collar, pockets and sleeves.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my black cardigan, a pair of red tights, my Erstwilder sparrow brooch, my red/printed hair-scarf and my cherry print shoes by the brand Hot Chocolate.
On Saturday the 1st of August I went to a rockabilly festival called Greazefest, this is an annual festival that runs for a whole weekend, usually sometime in August. It's on in Brisbane, Australia one weekend and Melbourne, Australia the next. Greazefest includes hot rods/vintage cars, market stores, bands/music, dancing, food and drinks and pinup parades, plus a lot more.
This year was the first time I have attended and I really enjoyed myself, I will definitely try and go next year as well.
On the Saturday I went with my cousin to check Greazefest out for the first time. We spent about four hours together looking around at all the markets/stores, checking out the cars/hot rods, taking some photos as above, having some lunch and checking the bands/dancing out. It was such a beautiful sunny day, couldn't ask for better weather.
I also meet a few ladies over the weekend, whom I follow on instagram, including these two beautiful ladies, in the above photo. I just loved seeing a lot of the ladies looking so beautiful all dressed up in their pinup/rockabilly/vintage style and fashions.
Here is a selfie of me, after I got home from a lovely day out at Greazefest with my cousin. I'm wearing my cocktail brooch by Deerarrow  http://www.deerarrow.com/  and my custom made pink hibiscus hair-flower by Soda Sweethearts  https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/SodaSweethearts.

Tomorrow I shall blogged another outfit and Greazefest part 2.

Until next time!
