This gorgeous dress is called Paradise 50's Dress which is by UK vintage inspired brand Hell Bunny
Which I purchased and had on lay-by for a couple of months through my local pinup/rockabilly boutique called Cherry Tree Lane
On the Hell Bunny official website, this dress is currently selling for 42.99 pounds ($73 Australian Dollars). You can find it's listed to purchase on other rockabilly/pinup websites such as Unique Vintage, Atomic Cherry, Retro Glam and on ebay.
This dress ranges from size small to extra large, which is my usual size with Hell Bunny and it fits quite beautifully and feels comfortable to wear.
I adore the print on this dress with the bamboo sticks, the green leaves and the pink, yellow and purple orchids on the cream background. Such a stunning tropical inspired frock!
The material is made from a light 100% polyester (a great dress to wear in summer). It's a 1950's shirt style dress, with a pleated skirt, that flows from the waist seam. Other features is the cute little wooden style buttons down the center front, has short sleeves, a high back with a back zip to get in and out off.
The length on this dress sits nicely at my knees, also you can wear it with or without a petticoat/crinoline, I choose not to wear a petticoat for these blog photos.
Accessories Include:
Shoes from Payless Australia
Purple wicker purse from Pinup Girl Clothing
Brooch from Viva La Lux
Pink hair-scarf and orchid hair-flower from ebay stores.
Silver bangles thrifted
Vintage parasol thrifted
This blog photos were taken a few weeks back by my Mum at a gorgeous spot called Bamboo Land which is a nursery and park-lands, full of bamboo trees and grassy areas for picnics etc.
In other news my pinup friend Vera Vamp and I attended the annual Greazefest Kustom Kulture Festival. We both were in the pinups on parade on Saturday, with other pinup ladies to show of our own personal pinup/vintage style to the crowd and photographers.
We both attended the festival both Saturday and Sunday. We enjoyed looking at all the market stalls, viewing all the awesome vintage and hot rod cars, and checking out some of the rockabilly bands.
Looking forward to going again next year!
Also I'm now on leave from work for a couple of weeks...yay! I'm just looking forward to the next couple of weeks doing what I want to do.
Until next time!

Let's Go Sailing!
I was recently given the opportunity to review this gorgeous swing skirt by an Australian rockabilly/pinup business called Ursalady Creations which you can find on their facebook page. They also have a physical store in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Ursalady sells well-known vintage inspired women's & men's clothing brands, accessories, shoes, lingerie plus some home-wears. They also sell their own swing skirts, I choose their "pink yacht skirt" to blog - which is currently on sale for $45 Australian dollars.
There swing skirts come in 7 other prints and their size range's from small (26 inch waist) to 4XL (41 inch waist). I ordered the XL which is my usual waist size of 32 inches and it fits perfectly.
I love the pink fabric with the sailing boats around the bottom and the little nautical objects all over the skirt.
This skirt is made out of a light crisp cotton, is gathered, and has a back zipper and top button to secure. I also love the length as I can wear a full petticoat underneath.
I should be able to wear this skirt in both the summer & winter months with a pair of tights/stockings underneath.
I decided to pair this skirt with my black and white striped 'October top" from UK vintage inspired brand Lindy Bop which unfortunately is currently out of stock.
Accessories Include:
Black flats from Payless Australia
Pink bag is by Sunjellies ordered through Vintage Pip
Pink Petticoat is from Lindy Bop
Retro belt is from an ebay seller
Pink gumball necklace is from Your one stop pinup shop
Retro sunglasses were a gift
Sea shell hair-piece is from Gigis Retro Closet
Brooch is from Viva La Lux
These photos were taken by my follow blogger/pinup friend Miss Vera Gin Vintage, whilst I was visiting her hometown of Bundaberg last weekend to visit family and Miss Vera Gin.
I knew I wanted to take these blog photos with sailing boats/yachts in the background to match with my sailing inspired skirt. We took these photos at a local yacht harbour and by the Burnett river that goes directly through Bundaberg.
In other news I've just been busy working, taking blog photos (have quite a number of outfits to blog), and just been busy with home-life.
I'm looking forward to next weekend as myself and Miss Vera Gin will be heading down to a rockabilly festival as we're both in a pinup parade, so excitting - I still don't know what I'll be wearing yet!
Until next time!

Viva La Lux!
I received these two most adorable brooches a week ago from a vintage inspired jewellery business called Viva La Lux. As well as twitter and instagram (as in the above photo) you can find Viva La Lux on facebook https://www.facebook.com/VivaLaLux/?fref=ts
and on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/VivaLaLux?ref=shopsection_shophome_leftnav
There are so many goodies to choose from including brooches, earrings and necklaces.
The store owner's name is Bonnie and all her 1940's/50's reproduction Lucite and Bakelite (Fakelite) style jewellery are homemade. Viva La Lux is based in the UK and I highly recommend on buying yourself something really unique, well designed and constructed to accessorize your outfit perfectly!
The first gorgeous brooch I'm reviewing is called Be Mine brooch in confetti pink. This brooch is hand made, is 3 by 3 inches, has round and hearts beads, has a bright red confetti base and has a bar clasp that locks closed. Materials used includes lucite, plastic, wire, metal and ceramic.
As soon as I saw this brooch I just had to do a blog review on it, as I do adore the colour pink, also the confetti and heart beads. I knew this brooch would go wonderfully with a lot of my outfits.
The second brooch is the Atomic poodle confetti flaked boomerang (no longer listed on Etsy) this the most adorable poodle on a pink confetti boomerang base. This brooch also has a bar clasp that locks, and materials used are plastic, Lucite, metal, wire and ceramic.
I just adore the poodle on the boomerang base, very delightful and so well designed and constructed. Again this brooch is going to go so well with a lot of my outfits.
In these photos I'm wearing the Evelyn dress in Mary Blair umbrellas print from Pinup Girl Clothing
Other accessories include:
White pee-toe shoes are from Target Australia
Blue scarf from Laurina Jean Retro
Blue straw sun hat from Target Australia
Retro style sunglasses from Colette by Colette Hayman
Until next time!
