I love the 1940's Style Tea Dresses by Vivien of Holloway There are many unique and gorgeous floral prints to choose from including this beautiful dress I'm featuring for this blog post. It's called the Seersucker Blue Floral. This print is just about sold out on the website but there are sizes left in other prints and colours.
Sizes range from small to extra large, just follow the measurement guide, to order the right size that fits you.
I really find the tea dresses so comfortable to wear throughout the day. This dress is made out of a cotton - seersucker fabric. It features padded shoulders, pockets with an A-line skirt, that is 31 inches in length. It also has delicate lace trimming on the arm-sleeves and up near the shoulders, plus white buttons down the front to get in and out of. This dress is also gathered at the waist, I love to add a belt to define and nip in the waist line a bit more.
All Vivien of Holloway dresses and other garments are made in London, England. They are made in limited quantities, so you feel like you're wearing a one of a kind vintage inspired garment piece.
The 1940's Style Tea Day Dress are currently available to purchase for £79.00 or around $140 (Aus) plus shipping costs.
Accessories Include:
Sandals from Bait Footwear
Hair-flower by Daisy Jean Floral Designs
Earrings by Revere Folie
Bangles from Louella Deville
These photos were taken in Auckland, New Zealand at a couple of beautiful parks near the city of Auckland. On the day I took these photos it was a wet/overcast day, so when it stopped raining for short periods I was able to take some photos. I adored the beautiful old trees I posed with and the buildings.
In other news, over the weekend I drove down to Brisbane (a 3 hour drive away from where I live). I caught up with family and friends, I also went shopping and I went to a burlesque show on Saturday night called Bombshell Burlesque, a good friend of mine MC's the burlesque show. It was very entertaining to watch.
On Friday night I have my work Christmas party to go to, then on the weekend I'm driving up to Bundaberg to visit family, another friend of mine and maybe even do some Christmas shopping as well.
I can't believe Christmas is only a few weeks away, where has this year gone!?
Until next time!
