As I do love cute and stylish handbag and better still it is vintage inspired! I chose one of my favorite colours, pink, other colours include black (currently sold out), red, white, and coming soon mint seafoam green and light purple. These are available to purchase for $64 (US), though currently you can get 30% off the purchase price on these wonderful handbags, through Lola Von Rose website.
They are made from acrylic and have a metal clasp to secure, plus a sturdy curved handle to carry. For a smaller handbag I was still able to fit my iphone, a small purse, keys, lipstick and sunglasses in this bag. My only advice is when opening the bag, place on a level surface so your contents don't come spilling out. I just love this cute little bag so much! I highly recommend adding one or even two of these handbags to your collection ladies!
I'm wearing my new Pink Voodoo Vixen top and Jenny skirt in floral ribbon print from Pinup Girl Clothing
The Jenny skirt is a full gathered skirt, that has a wide waistband, a back zipper and hidden lipstick pockets. It's made from 97% cotton and 3% spandex. I adore the floral and blue ribbon print. The skirt can be purchase for $98 (US) and comes in sizes XS to XL through Pinup Girl Clothing.
I chose to match this skirt with my Deadly Dames Voodoo Vixen top also by Pinup Girl Clothing.
This top is currently on sale, so there are not many sizes left. It's has criss cross straps which preferably should be crossed at the front, but I decided to cross at the back instead, which actually feels more comfortable on me. It's also made from 97% cotton and 3% spandex, is lined and has a zip in the back. Really great to wear in summer here in Queensland, Australia.
I'm also wearing a pink short-sleeve cardigan by Freddies of Pinewood which was given to me by a good friend. It's so cute and great to wear when it's a little cool outside, just to cover the shoulders and upper-arms.
Flats from Payless Australia
Boater Straw Hat from Pinup Girl Clothing
Pin-wheel brooch is from Erstwilder
Bangles are thrifted
Petticoat is from Lindybop
I love finding the parasols/umbrellas hanging in the trees to pose with and the pretty pink flowers. I took these on a Sunday afternoon, when there is not many people around.
In other news I officially start my new position as a activity officer tomorrow at work! Which is a full-time position of five days a week and that means weekends off...yay!!
This weekend I'm planning taking blog photos at a friends place on Saturday and attending a vintage day on Sunday called Wings and Wheels there will be vintage cars and planes, a pinup competition and markets to look at.
Until next time!
