This blog post is all about my top 10 favorite music acts, bands and singers.
Starting off with no. 1 as my all time favorite!
1. MADONNA
I'm a huge fan of Madonna! I just love about every single song of hers!
I started to like her music when I was about 10 years young. I would listen to "The Immaculate Collection" album, over and over and over. But it wasn't until I was at least 14 years that I started buying more of her albums, then came buying the video's/dvd's, books and other Madonna related merchandise.
I've never seen Madonna "live" in concert though, as I live in Australia and the last time she toured here was back in 1993, and I was too young to go and see her then.
Plus I haven't had the opportunity to see her "live" in another country overseas, due to my lack of money to travel!
2. P!NK
I love nearly every single one of P!nk's songs, her first album, I'm not really a fan off though. Because of the music style of this album!
I really started to get into P!nk's music about 10 years ago after receiving her "Try This" album for my birthday one year. To this day I own her all album releases, music dvd's and some other merchandise related to P!nk.
I've seen P!nk now 2 times "live" in her concerts, for the "I'm not dead tour and the "Funhouse tour". P!nk is a really great entertainer and show woman and she didn't disappoint for both of these shows.
3. GWEN STEFANI/NO DOUBT
I remember buying No Doubts most popular album "Tragic Kingdom" when I was about 15 years and totally loving all of the songs on their! From there I was hook on this band, especially Gwen and thinking how cool she is.
I also love Gwen's solo music as well and I saw her "live" for one of her shows back in 2007 for the "Sweet Escape Tour".
I'm looking forward to her new album, that's coming out soon.
4. Lady Gaga
I really started to get into Lady Gaga's music after she release the single "Bad Romance", but the first physical CD I actually bought was her "Born this way" album. I now own all her studio album releases!
I've also seen Lady Gaga "live" for her "Born this way" tour back in 2012.
Which was a really great show/concert!
5. Kylie Minogue
I probably didn't get into Kylie's music, until around 10 years ago, after she release "Can't get you out of my head", and the album "Fever".
I actually prefer Kylie's newer music to her older music.
From their I've just about bought all of her albums, dvd releases and so on.
I've also seen Kylie "live" on 2 different occasions, once for "The Homecoming tour" and then the "Aphrodite tour" in 2011.
6. Garbage
I probably started to get into the band Garbage around 14 years ago, whenI went to a music festival and they were one of the acts playing on stage and I thought to myself they are pretty awesome.
So I started buying their albums and really love their music, plus having a female lead singer is a bonus, with the rest of the band being males!
7. Kelly Clarkson
I got into Kelly Clarkson's music after she released her album "Breakaway", I just loved the singles of this album for example "Since you been gone," "Breakaway" and "hazel eyes".
To this day I own all of her albums. I've also seen Kelly "live" in concert for her Breakaway Tour back in 2005.
8. Imelda May
Only in the last six months I've got into Imelda's music, from researching "rockabilly" music online and I came across this gorgeous lady Imelda May, so I started downloading some of her music to listen to and I really loved her songs, they're very catchy and sound really cool!
At the moment she's my current favorite I love listening too.
9. Robbie Williams
I haven't got into Robbie Williams newest music but I really loved his most popular single releases such as "Rock DJ", "Let me entertain you", "Feel", "Angels", "Rudebox" and "Millennium".
I saw Robbie Williams "live" back in 2006 for the "Close Encounters" Tour.
One thing about Robbie he is such a great entertainer and performer!
10. The Eagles
The main reason I got into "The Eagles" music because my Mum is a fan and would play their albums quite frequently, so after a while I started to like their music as well!
Their songs are real true hits and a lot of their songs most people can relate too.
I've also seen this band "live" back in 2005 for their "Farewell 1 tour".
I also love other music acts/bands/singers but above are my top 10, and plus I've seen 8 out of 10 "live" in concert! With the exemption of Madonna and Imelda May. But hopefully one day I'll get the chance to go and see this two ladies in concert!
Do you have similar taste in music?
Until next time!

Hell Bunny Part 1
This post is about my review on the vintage reproduction clothing brand called "Hell Bunny."
"Hell Bunny" are based in the UK and mainly sell rockabilly/pinup/vintage style dresses, skirts, tops/blouses, petticoats, shorts, pants, cardigans, jackets and accessories. This brand is quite popular with ladies that wear rockabilly/pinup/50's fashions!
"Hell Bunny" don't have their own website but you can find all their clothing in just about any alternative/rockabilly/pinup store, or on ebay.
For Christmas (2013) my Mum bought me my first "Hell Bunny" dress. From a local clothing boutique (my favourite) called "Cherry Tree Lane Fashion", which you can find on facebook, look it up!
I do really love this dress, only thing it's a little big in the chest area, as it's a one size too big, but I still enjoy wearing this beautiful dress.
I love the design, purple color and the poker-dots on this swing - dress.
The actual name of the dress is called "Vera".
The next dress I bought myself was from an Australian online boutique called "Atomic Cherry". http://www.atomiccherry.com.au/
At the time this online boutique was having a sale on "Hell Bunny" clothing. So I bought myself a awesome dress called "The day of the dead, Mexico 50's dress".
I just love the print, colors and design of this swing-dress.
Once again this dress was somewhat big in the chest area, because of the elasticated panels on the back.
My Mum kindly altered the top section for me, so it would be a better fit and look.
About six months ago I bought myself a swing-skirt from another Australian online boutique called Ruff-n-ready. http://www.ruffnready.com.au/
This skirt is called "candy floral circle skirt", you can purchase this skirt in a lot of colors (pink, blue, black, yellow) but I decided on the red one.
I love the Hawaiian/tropical look and style of this skirt. It's a great skirt for the warmer months. This skirt fits quite well on me.
I have found with the different colors in this skirt, I can wear quite a number of tops/tees/blouses with it!
"Hell Bunny" clothing retail from low to medium prices usually ranging from $40.00 - $90.00. Just depending on where you buy from and if any boutiques are having a sale on this brand at the time!
"Hell Bunny" clothing is off a very good quality and they offer many fabric prints and colors. They also offer many styles and designs on their 50's reproduction clothing!
If you go by their actual measurements, their clothing does run true to size. Only the two halter dresses I own, as I stated above were a bit big for me in the chest area.
In the next week or so I will continue with my Hell Bunny blog post, as I actually own a couple of other dresses from this popular brand!
Until next time!

Some of my Favorite Homewares!
For this blog post I want to show you some of my favorite personal home-wares and why they are special to me!
The first one would have to be my zebra heel shaped seats. As soon as I saw these is a local furniture store I just had to purchase them! As they were so unique and retro looking. Buying the two together though was somewhat expensive, so I had to put them on lay-by for a while.
Currently though they're both on my front patio! Only downside is, I don't sit on them near enough!
The next favorite of mine is my beautiful table lamp that is made to look like a ladies dress and her legs! I came across this lamp in a local gifts/home-wares store. I knew this lovely lamp would look good in my room, and was also unique, that's why I bought it!
Another favorite of mine are my two pink flamingos. Both are currently on my patio as well. One was given to me as a birthday gift this year from my Mum and the other I bought myself at Kmart, as I knew I had to have at least two together!!
I also love cute/chic fabric cushion covers, to add on my lounge chair or on my bed. Two of my favorite's would have to be in the photos below, as they both are very chic and retro looking!
I also love my wall-art prints, especially ones to do with the city of Paris! These bottom three were given to me as Christmas/Birthday gifts over the last few years, and all three are currently hanging up on walls in my rooms.
The next are my coffee mugs, especially my Madonna and Paris print mugs. I own four Madonna mugs (three I only keep on display and one I do actually use.) I also own four of these really cool mugs that connect on top of each other to form the Eiffel Tower! These mugs are currently also kept on display.
My final favorite home-ware's is my coffee, tea and sugar canisters I bought myself from a home-wares store a couple of years ago. I just love the Paris, chic and vintage theme of them, that's why I had to buy these for myself as they were totally me!
What are your favorite home-wares or do you own anything similar to mine?
Until next time!

My Top 5 Fashion Accessories Wish List!
This blog post is all about the top 5 fashion accessories, that i hope to buy myself in the near future or to be given as Christmas/Birthday gifts! (hint, hint)
Starting my wish list of with:
No. 1 A Pinup Couture wicker purse
I have been eying of these handbags for a while now, as I love the look and style of them. Also they would go so great with some of my outfits! The main reason I haven't as of yet got around to buying myself one is because of the price!
From the actual Pinup Girl Clothing website: http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/ they're priced at $78 (US) each, plus shipping costs to Australia, so it does end up being quite costly for a handbag.
I have also seen these bags on some Australian websites as well ranging between $80 - $120.
I probably will wait for a sale on one of the websites to purchase myself one of these gorgeous handbags!
No. 2 A Rockabilly/Pinup Sun Parasol
I really would like to invest in my own unique parasol! As I think they're a great addition to any vintage, rockabilly or pinup outfit, they can also help protect you from the sun! I want one to take with me to any rockabilly/50's/vintage festivals I may attend in the near future.
To buy a good quality one they price between $20 - $50.
I've seen these for sale on some websites, etsy and ebay. For example the Sourpuss clothing website sell them. http://www.sourpussclothing.com/gals/accessories/parasols.html
No. 3 Luxulite brooch
I've seen many ladies on instagram wearing these and they look real cute. Especially when they suit the outfit style for example the color and theme. I hope to buy one for myself in the near future, to go with some of my outfits!
These brooches are for purchase on etsy the actual website is: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/Luxulite
The price range for a brooch is usually between $10 - $40 (US) plus shipping.
The lady (UK seller) that designs, makes and sell these brooches also sells earrings and necklaces.
No. 4 Tiki bamboo bangles
These bangles look so cool with Hawaiian/tiki/tropical theme outfits! I would love to accessorize these with some of my tropical theme skirts/dresses.
I've seen these style of bangles to buy both on ebay and etsy. Also to purchase on this website: http://bowandcrossbones.com/products/kitsch-tiki-bamboo-bangle-round-more-colours-more-qtys
The price range is approximately $5 upwards for each bangle.
No. 5
I've also seen these beautiful hair-flower pieces on instagram and have thought to myself wow these are really gorgeous pieces to accessorize with rockabilly/pinup theme outfits!
The beautiful lady (Australian) who designs, and sell these flowers has her own etsy website where you can buy direct from. The website is: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/LADYROWE
I've also seen them for sale on a couple of Australian boutique websites for example "Stars and Swallows" and "Gwynnies Emporium".
The price range is usually between $25.00 - $40.00 plus postage.
Do you own any of these top 5 accessories or wish to buy any yourself?
Until next time!

My Custom made skirts - by Betty Le Bonbon!
Early on in the year I had two circle/swing skirts custom made by "Betty Le Bonbon, cheek boutique". Both skirts I really love, so this is my review on this awesome company!
"Betty Le Bonbon" is an Australian (Melbourne) custom made clothing boutique, the company mainly create and sell their own skirts, petticoats and from time to time dresses.
Their motto is "vintage styles for the modern pinup". "Betty Le Bonbon" are mostly known though for their custom made circle/swing and gathered skirts.
The company's website is http://www.bettylebonbon.com/
I came across this design company on instagram and I loved the skirt fabric prints, so then I decided that I would inquire, about getting myself a couple of skirts custom made!
I found their facebook page and looked at all of the fabric prints that were available. Then I sent a personal message to the company to gain all details on how to get myself a couple of these wonderful skirts made!
Below are the prints I choose:
| A flamingo and a Paris scene fabric print |
All you have to do is put down a deposit payment (usually $30), then once a fornight put down another payment, until you paid the skirt/s off! You have up to 10 weeks to pay for items.
Once payment is complete, then your skirts are ready to be custom made!
| Here I'm wearing the Paris print without a petticoat and the flamingo print with a petticoat. |
I highly recommend on ordering a skirt through "Betty Le Bonbon, Cheek boutique". For something that is "Australian made" and unique at the same time.
The creator of "Betty Le Bonbon, cheek boutique" is a lovely lady named Jasmine!
| This is me personally styling the Paris print skirt. |

Have you had any clothing items custom made by "Betty Le Bonbon" or any other Australian design company?
Until next time!

I love Erstwilder brooches
My love for Erstwilder brooches began at the start of the year after seeing lots of ladies on instagram wearing them and thinking to myself how cute and unique they are!
This is the official website:
http://erstwilder.com/
But you can buy any of the items from numerous online/actual clothing and accessories boutiques and from ebay. Just "Google" - Erstwilder!
As well as this brand designing and selling layered resin brooches they also sell necklaces, rings and earrings.
The Erstwilder collection is designed in Melbourne. Originally by a lady named Louisa Camille, but due to the high growing demand of this brand - there has recently been an expansion and now there is a design team of three.
All of the items are inspired for women who love rockabilly, vintage and retro fashions and accessories.
Most of these designs are animals/birds/reptiles etc.
February this year I bought my Mum a peacock brooch, as my Mum loves anything to do with peacocks!
I bought the brooch from a rockabilly/pinup fashion boutique called - "your one stop pinup shop" This is their offical website: http://youronestoppinupsho.photium.com/
.

I would highly recommend on buying yourself one of the Erstwilder accessory design items because of their high quality, and for the designs being so cute and unique!
Do you own anything from the Erstwilder collection?
Until next time!

Thanks for facebook - Mark Zuckerberg!
I joined facebook in 2008, after a cousin of mine told me to join up, she said "I would probably get in touch/contact with long lost friends".
At first I was somewhat skeptical about it, that I, actually would find my friends on their that I lost contact with over the years. (I had moved away from the city I grew up in, to another town a few hours away with my family).
But after joining a past "school" facebook group, well it wasn't long until the friend request's started coming in, mainly from my former school peers. By looking up their "friends list" and so on I soon found all my closest girlfriends I used to go to school with!
I was so excited and happy by this!
After accepting friend requests etc, I got in contact with them all and organized a "catch up". Until this day we still all try to get together from time to time. To celebrate birthdays, weddings, baby showers, Christmas get togethers and we've also been away together for a couple of nights!
![]() | |
| This is one of our "ladies only" get together's (friends birthday) |
On my personal facebook page I often post up pictures of interest, personal photos, status updates and links, recently including my own blog link up.
I also follow quite a number of group pages, fashion and celebrity pages as well.
![]() |
| This is one of the first pictures I uploaded onto facebook. (2008) |
![]() |
| This is a recent photo I uploaded up at a Madonna dance party! (2014) |
I used to play some games on their but I don't anymore, as they just get too addicting and time consuming!
I also change my cover and profile photos regularly as well - just for a change!
![]() |
| This is a recent cover photo of mine. |

| This is one of my profile photos. |
Facebook for me is the only way to "know what my friends get up to on a daily basis and to also stay in the loop"!
Why do you use facebook?
Until next time.
