Pinup Inspired!

Today's outfit blog post is about this sugar skull printed blouse and my new Sourpuss Clothing pedal pushers. I decided to accessorize this outfit combo with my Erstwilder swallow brooch.

The blouse I bought a couple of years ago now from an Australian ladies fashion chain called Ice, I really like the sugar skull print and I thought it had a rockabilly style to it. My pedal pusher jeans I only bought a few weeks ago from the Sourpuss Clothing website, at the time they were have a "sale". So I ended up buying these pedal pushers and also a Sourpuss cardigan, which I shall blog about in the near future. These jeans are so comfortable, stylish and fit really well on me.
My printed blouse (discontinued) is from Ice http://www.icedesign.com.au/
My pedal pusher jeans are from Sourpuss Clothing http://sourpussclothing.com/
The Erstwilder sparrow brooch I bought from an ebay seller.
The Wedges shoes are from Williams shoes https://www.williamsshoes.com.au and my sunglasses are from a local accessories boutique.
I found this photo above online and thought I would post in on my Pinup Inspired blog post. Such an awesome rockabilly/pinup look, very inspiring for pinup style photo-shoots!

Apple Red!

Today's outfit blog post is about this lovely apple print dress by the vintage reproduction brand Hell Bunny and I decided to accessorize this dress with my vintage wicker purse and my red cloche hat that I found on ebay.

This Hell Bunny green Francine apple print dress I've owned for nearly a year now, I love the apple and floral print, the little white & gold buttons down the front top-half and the white lacy collar. The dress is made out of a very light cotton fabric (great for the warmer months) and I also like the length and it does fit well on me. Only downside is the neck-line is somewhat high and at times it does get annoying as I have to pull the dress down of my neck. But still I do love this dress, such a great 1940's inspired frock.
My dress is by the brand Hell Bunny which I bought from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (you can find on facebook).
My wicker purse I bought from a market store holder called Cherry Bay Fabulous (also find on facebook)
The red heel sandals are from an ebay seller.
The red cloche hat is also bought from an ebay seller.
I love this red apple purse (I've seen a few of the ladies I follow on instagram, holding onto it in their posts) I can see it matching my Hell Bunny apple print dress quite nicely.

Until next time!

1950's Style!

Today's blog post is about this 1950's fashion style outfit and I decided to accessorize this outfit with my colorful vintage purse!

The blue blouse I bought from Kmart about a year ago, I thought it looked like a vintage inspired piece. My skirt is actually true vintage (I don't know the brand). I found it at a vintage clothing garage sale. I love the pattern and the different colors on this skirt, plus the pleats. It's a little big on me, so I have to wear it with a belt.
My blue blouse is from Kmart.
My vintage skirt I found at a vintage clothing garage sale.
The red belt is by the brand Hell Bunny which I bought online from Ruff n Ready  http://www.ruffnready.com.au/

Silver wedges are from Rivers http://www.rivers.com.au/
Sunglasses are by the brand Collectif which I bought from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/  and my blue hair-scarf is from an ebay seller.
The photo above I found online is of ladies in the 1950's wearing true 50's fashion. I really love the 50's style, the dresses, skirts, blouses etc are all just so beautiful!

Blue Birds!

This dress is so cute and as soon as I saw it, I wanted to add it to my growing wardrobe collection! I bought it from an Australian store called Dangerfield, it's from the Revival collection. I decided to accessorize this dress with my Erstwilder "blue bird of happiness" brooch.

I bought this dress as part of a "buy 2 get 1 free" deal a little while back from Dangerfield. I've already blogged the other dress I bought which you can find here: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/04/vintage-inspired.html and I also bought a short sleeve cardigan which I'll also blog about in the near future.
I love the harlequin print, the blue and white coloring, the little faux buttons down the front and the white Peter Pan collar. This dress fits quite well on me also. I would say it's more a spring/summer style dress because of the light cotton fabric and the shorter length.
My dress is from Dangerfield http://shop.dangerfield.com.au from the Revival collection.
My white sandals are from Novo http://www.novoshoes.com.au/
The Erstwilder blue bird brooch is from a vintage market store.
Sunglasses are from a local pre-loved boutique, blue birds necklace is from an ebay seller.
My white belt is from another dress I own.
This photo I found online of this pretty little blue bird matches my blog post and outfit so perfectly! Such a pretty little bird!

Until next time!

All The Cherries!

As soon as I saw this gorgeous dress online by the vintage reproduction brand Collectif, I knew I had to have it! As I do love a cherry design/print! I'm also accessorizing this dress with my Sourpuss "cherry print" purse, which I received as a Christmas (2014) gift.

This dress is beautifully designed, it's made of a light chiffon material and is fully lined. Other great features this dress has cute pearl buttons down the front, has a matching belt and the collar is ruffled. I also love the length and it fits me perfectly.
A great dress to wear throughout the year, I can wear it with a cardigan and tights/leggings in the colder months.
My dress is by the brand Collectif which I bought from an ebay seller.
My peep-toe shoes are from Novo http://www.novoshoes.com.au/
The purse is by Sourpuss Clothing which I got from Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (please find on facebook)
The headscarf if from an ebay seller and my pearl necklace is from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/
Aren't these cherry art fingernails so cute? Would love to get my fingernails done like this, maybe when I'm on holidays again!

Until next time!

Pretty Flowers!

Today's blog post is all about my new floral vintage inspired dress by the brand Timeless by Vannessa Tong (find on facebook).  I decided to accessorize this dress with one of my own stylish handbags, which has ladies sitting in a cafe on it.

As soon as I saw this dress in a vintage inspired clothing boutique, I knew I had to try it on and if it fitted, buy it! I just love the design, with the box pleats and the neckline. I also love the gorgeous floral fabric print, the fit and the length. Another bonus this dress is lined and also has pockets!
I wore this outfit out to the shops and to the movies (saw Cinderella) with my Mum and sister.
