Okay so I've officially started my holidays for about three weeks! Yay!! It's going to be so nice to have a bit of a break from work. For the next few weeks I might do something different on my blog and include pics and little stories of what I get up to on my holidays. Kicking off with Greazefest this weekend. Hopefully I can take some photos and post them on here along with on my instagram feed.
On other news today I got myself the new iphone6 (I thought it was about time I upgraded my mobile phone), which was an iphone 4S.
This dress I'm wearing for today's blog post is by another vintage reproduction company based in the UK called Love ur Look Clothing http://www.loveurlook.co.uk/
I came across this company on instagram and decided to have a look on their website. I totally loved this dress straight away and decided to buy it!
I love the scooped neckline, the four red buttons on the front bodice, the length (great for taller ladies), the atomic fabric print and the pleats. Other great bonus this dress is lined, comes with a matching belt and has pockets. You can also purchase the same print also in a wiggle dress.
I am accessorizing this dress with my Deerarrow radio brooch, my luckylou shoes and a hair-scarf.
Dress is by the brand Love ur Look Clothing.
Shoes are by Lucky Lou Shoes http://www.luckyloushoes.com/
Radio brooch is by Deer arrow http://www.deerarrow.com/
Hair-scarf is from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook)
This radio brooch is so cute, it's made out of wood and is hand painted, Deer Arrow have some really cute accessories on their website including brooches, cardigan clips and earrings.
Until next time!

Pretty Blue Birds!
These next two months are hopefully going to be a lot of fun and excitement for me. I'm going to Greazefest for the first time this coming weekend, then the following weekend I'm going to a local vintage fair, then the following weekend after that I hope to go to a Madonna dance party.
Then for the month of September I want to go to a couple of other rockabilly/vintage festivals. I'm so excited as I get to dress up and have fun whilst meeting people who also love the same sort of fashions and of course music as I do!
Today's outfit includes this circle skirt by Hell Bunny which I have blogged previously before this in the link: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/birds-and-flowers.html
I just love the pattern on this skirt with the blue birds and the pink roses, very pretty.
I also like this skirts length, the light cotton material and of course this skirt has pockets!
I decided to match this Hell Bunny skirt with my blue blouse from Kmart Australia and my embroidered blue bird cardigan by Collectif Clothing.
Here I am in these photos accessorizing this outfit with my blue hair-scarf, my retro black cat-eye sunglasses and my retro blue belt.
Blue blouse is from Kmart Australia.
Hell Bunny floral and blue bird skirt is from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Collectif blue bird cardigan is from That Shop (find on facebook).
Black sandals are from Novo http://www.novoshoes.com.au/
Blue retro belt and blue hair-scarf are from an ebay seller.
Retro cat-eye sunglasses are from Cherry Bay Fabulous (find on facebook).
This little blue bird/sparrow is so cute on my Collectif cardigan, I just love how this cardigan go really well with a number of my outfits, including today's outfit blog post.

Fabulous Flamingos!
Today's outfit blog is a little different. For one when I took these photos I was sick again with another cold and wasn't looking or feeling crash hot. Plus I mainly want to focus this blog on my awesome new flamingo sandals from Miss L Fire UK http://shop.misslfire.co.uk/
I've been eying of these shoes for quite a while but just couldn't justify spending nearly $200 a pair of shoes they may or may not fit! As it's a big gamble when ordering shoes online, not as easy as dresses etc. But I took the plunge and finally ended up buying a pair!
These sandals are just so unique and wonderful, I just love the colours, flamingo and tropical plants on each sandal. They come in four different colour ways the gold (which I ended up ordering) pink, silver and black. These sandals also have glitter shine over them as well. These sandals fits me length ways but are a little tight around the outer sides of my feet - near my toes. Hopefully wearing them for a bit each day I can stretch and break them in, so when I walk in these I don't end up getting blisters!
As I really want to wear them to Greazefest next weekend, which will require some walking, so hopefully they OK to wear by then.
With these sandals I'm wearing my embroidered flamingo dusty pink cardigan by Banned Apparel, my skinny pattern jeans from Target Australia and my Deerarrow cocktail brooch.
I love this little brooch by Deerarrow, it's so cute with the pineapple, the hibiscus flower and flamingo, this is my third brooch to date by this company, all they're brooches are homemade and they have so many cute and awesome brooches to choose from, on their website.
Banned Apparel flamingo cardigan is from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Pattern skinny jeans are from Target Australia.
Cocktail brooch is from Deerarrow http://www.deerarrow.com/
Flamingo sandals are from Miss L Fire UK
One more photo of these wonderful shoes, I'm so happy I have finally got myself a pair!
Until next time!

Cherry Swing!
I have decided to change the name of my blog and instagram account, which is actually now missmillacherry, mainly because I wanted more of a pinup style name and just felt it was time to change my name up a bit. It's not much of a change, as I still wanted to keep the name in general. But I feel this little name change is more me!
Today's outfit blog post is about these vintage inspired swing trousers by the brand Vivien of Holloway, which I have blogged previously before here is the link: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/cherry-red.html
These trousers are so comfortable to wear and I love the red colour. They actually feel like I'm wearing a pair of true vintage trousers from the 1940's/50's.
I decided to match my coral colour vintage blouse with these awesome trousers. Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my luxulite brooch, my red hair-snood, my retro sunglasses and my cherry purse by Sourpuss Clothing.
Vintage blouse is from a local vintage yard sale.
Swing trousers are from Vivien of Holloway http://www.vivienofholloway.com/
Cherry print Mary-Janes are by the brand Hot Chocolate and are from Beserk http://www.beserk.com.au/
Luxulite brooch is from etsy https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/Luxulite
Retro sunglasses by Collectif and my retro Hell Bunny belt are both from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Cherry print purse is from my local rockabilly boutique called Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook)
Hair-snood is from an ebay seller.
I wanted to use my cute cherry print purse by Sourpuss as a prop for today's outfit blog. I find this purse/bag goes with a lot of my outfits as I do love a cherry print and of course the colour red.
Until next time!

Cup of Tea!
I've only got two weeks of work left, then I'm on holidays for two and a half weeks...yay!!
Last night I went to the movies with my brother's girlfriend we went to see the second Magic Mike movie, the story line is pretty slow and boring and I found the male stripping wasn't that exciting either not like the first movie anyway, personally I would give this movie 2 out of 5 stars. I do enjoy going to the movies from time to time though, especially if it's something I really want to see.
Today's blog post is about my new skirt from Pinup Girl Clothing it's the Jenny skirt in Queen of Hearts border print. I love the Alice in Wonderland inspired novelty fabric print and all the colours, once again they're are so many tops/blouses you can match it with. I decided to wear my fluffy black sweater with this skirt, as it's still so cold here where I live.
This is my fourth Jenny skirt to date, I love all my Jenny skirts so much. Only downside I wish it had lipstick pockets, but still I just love this skirt, I'm so happy I ended up buying it!
Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my new Deerarrow pink tea-set brooch, my pink hair-flower and my pink retro Hell Bunny belt.
Black fluffy sweater is from Kmart (Australia).
Jenny skirt is from Pinup Girl Clothing http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/
Red heels are from Lucky Lou Shoes http://www.luckyloushoes.com/
Tea-set brooch is by Deerarrow http://www.deerarrow.com/
Pink retro belt is from Gwynnies Emporium http://gwynnies.com.au/
Pink hair-flower is from an ebay seller.
I thought this little teacup and saucer would suit perfectly used as a prop for today's outfit blog photos and post!
Until next time!

Winter Days!
I just completed my tax return for this financial year, so I hope to get some extra money deposited into my bank account within the next few days! With this extra bit of dosh I need to get my car serviced (long overdue) and put some of it aside for my upcoming holidays. But I'm also going to buy something nice for myself, I've been eying of and wanting a pair of these cute flamingo sandals from the brand Miss L Fire, but they are a bit on the expensive side for me but then again at the same time they are so unique and gorgeous so I'll probably order a pair for myself!!
I have blogged about these pair of jeans by Freddies of Pinewood previously before this is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/06/1940s-look.html these jeans have been so great to wear over the last couple of days with this really cold weather we've been having here in Queensland.
These jeans are just so comfortable to wear and go so well with a number of different tops, blouses and cardigans. For these blog photos I decided to wear my short sleeve cardigan by the Australian brand Dangerfield, which is from their Revival collection.
Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my pink beret, and my pink cat-eye sunglasses.
Pink cardigan is from the brand Dangerfield http://shop.dangerfield.com.au
Freddies of Pinewood jeans are from Ruff n Ready http://www.ruffnready.com.au/
Saddle shoes are from an ebay seller.
Pink beret and pink cat-eye sunglasses are also from an ebay seller.
I had to take a photo of these pretty pink flowers in my Mum's garden for today's outfit blog post and photos!
Until next time!

Calling For Flowers!
Apparently it's supposed to get really cold for Queensland weather standards over the next few days, which I'm totally not looking forward to! I really don't like cold/freezing weather, sometimes it's just so hard to get and stay warm. Also it does make it challenging to dress nicely but also to stay warm as well. I just hope this coming cold snap doesn't stay around for too long!
This pretty floral dress for today's blog I have blogged previously before here is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/bouquet-of-flowers.html I just love this dress by Hearts and Roses London. I love the floral print, the sturdy cotton fabric and the 1950's swing style of this dress.
This dress is great to wear in the summer and in the winter months, just had a cardigan/jacket or tights/stockings like I have for these blog photos.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my Erstwilder milkshake brooch, my blue cardigan, my petticoat, a necklace and a pink hair-flower.
Hearts and Roses floral dress is from Poison Kandy Klothing http://www.poisonkandyklothing.com.au/
Blue cardigan is from Kmart Australia.
Silver flats are from Rivers Australia.
White petticoat is from an ebay seller.
Erstwilder milkshake brooch is from Vintage Pip http://www.vintagepip.com.au/
Tights, hair-flower and necklace are from a local accessories store.
I thought I would use this vintage reproduction phone as a prop for today's outfit blog photos, it actually belongs to my Mum, she loves vintage inspired furniture and homewares.
Until next time!
