Jack's Daughter!

Hi all!
For this week's blog post, I'm reviewing these two gorgeous outfits by an Australian etsy company called Jack's Daughter
Jenni Porter the lovely owner and dressmaker of Jack's Daughter specializes in "one off" vintage inspired garments.  I have purchased and have had a few different vintage styles outfits made by Jenni, over the last few years.  Jenni creates her vintage inspired clothing from, original vintage patterns or she can draft patterns from actual vintage garments or from photos.
Some of her garments she currently has for sale on her etsy page, includes dresses, skirts, blouses, pants, shorts and play-suits.
Please feel free to give Jenni a message if you're after a special "one off" vintage inspired outfit for yourself! I can highly recommend you do so.
The first dress I'm reviewing is this gorgeous 1930's inspired day dress.  I have actually featured this dress before on my blog here's the link to that: 1930's Day Dress
if you want to have a look/read and how I've styled this dress previously.
For this dress I was able to choose this gorgeous floral print and have any "special" features I wanted.
I just love how it is made specially to my measurements, so it fits really well on me.
My favorite features of this dress is the pleated kick in the front, that it comes with a matching belt, with a buckle and has short-cuffed sleeves and I love the buttons diagonally across the front.  There is actually two matching fabric ties, that you can tie in a bow at the front. For these photos I decided to tuck them into the front neckline of this dress to show the white buttons across the front and the neck-line.
Accessories Include:
Hairflower by Shazam Pinup Hair Flowers
Sunglasses by Voodoo Vixen
Earrings and Bangles by Splendette
Brooch by Erstwilder
Handbag by Pinup girl clothing
Sandals from Rocket Originals
The second outfit by Jack's Daughter is this 1950's inspired patio skirt and blouse set.  I messaged Jenni last year if she would be able to create and make this for me. I sent through a couple of pictures of what I had in mind. After deciding on the pink colour I wanted, this is the end result!
I just love the pink fabric and the white and black ric-rac together. It's made out of a cotton material, so has no stretch to it.  I gave my measurements to Jenni and this outfit fits well on me.
This is such a fun outfit to wear, I just love the full circle skirt and the separate blouse. I also love the black and white ric-rac, that goes around the skirt twice and on the blouse and the collar.  The skirt has a hidden back zip and button to secure and the blouse has a side hidden zipper to get in and out of.
I wore a petticoat underneath to give the skirt more swing and full-ness.
I also added my own belt to give the skirt and blouse, more flare and structure to it!
 Accessories Include:
Hat is by Who's that girl (currently unavailable)
Earrings by Revere Folie
Bangles by Louella Deville
Brooch by Erstwilder
Belt from Kmart Australia
Boots from an ebay seller

These photos were taken by my husband-to-be at a park in Maryborough, Queensland and at a friends property, whom live locally.

Next week I'll be featuring two dresses by an Australian vintage inspired clothing company called Gigi's Fairy Fashion

Until next time!
