At The Wharf!

Hi everyone!

An update from my last post, I'm feeling 100% better then I was last Friday/Saturday.  I'm currently taking antibiotics that my GP had prescribe to me on Monday. I had hoped to return back to work by now but due to new workplace policies, regarding flu's and colds I won't be able to return to work until next week!  I'm now having extra days off, then what was expected!
The last few days the weather here in Queensland, Australia has been miserable, with overcast, cold and rainy days!
I really hope the weather will be nicer over the weekend, just have to wait and see!
For this blog post I'm reviewing one of my favourite dress by Australian vintage inspired clothing company Retrospec'd
This dress is called Gigi in Fishermans wharf.  I adore the print, with the nautical theme, the colours and the style of this dress.
I was able to purchase this dress for a great "on sale" price from Retrospec'd, around 6 months ago!
I'm wearing a size 16 and it fits perfectly on me.  There are still most sizes left to purchase from in this exact dress.
Other features to this dress in the narrow adjustable straps, I must say which I do prefer.  As straps falling off my shoulders, can be very annoying! This dress also has side hidden pockets and narrow tucks in the skirt.  You could wear a medium size petticoat underneath, but again I choose not to for these blog photos!
The material is a lovely cotton stretch sateen, so it's very comfortable and breathable to wear, especially in the hotter summer months.
I love wearing Retrospec'd because of their gorgeous dress fabric prints and the many different vintage inspired styles you can choose from.  Plus they're an Australian company as well!
Accessories Include:
Pink Beret from ebay Australia
Brooch by Erstwilder
Earrings by Revere Folie (No longer in business)
Bangles by Splendette
Shoes by Bettie Page Shoes ordered through Nicole Jade Boutique
These photos we're shoot by my wonderful husband down by the Mary river in Maryborough, Queensland.  I knew I wanted to have boats and yachts in the background to match the print on my dress.  That's one thing I always love to do when I'm taking my outfit and blog photos, I'll always try my best to find a location/background to suit the theme of my outfit/dress!

Until next time!
