Fabulous Flamingos!

Today's outfit blog is a little different. For one when I took these photos I was sick again with another cold and wasn't looking or feeling crash hot. Plus I mainly want to focus this blog on my awesome new flamingo sandals from Miss L Fire UK   http://shop.misslfire.co.uk/
I've been eying of these shoes for quite a while but just couldn't justify spending nearly $200 a pair of shoes they may or may not fit! As it's a big gamble when ordering shoes online, not as easy as dresses etc. But I took the plunge and finally ended up buying a pair!
These sandals are just so unique and wonderful, I just love the colours, flamingo and tropical plants on each sandal. They come in four different colour ways the gold (which I ended up ordering) pink, silver and black. These sandals also have glitter shine over them as well. These sandals fits me length ways but are a little tight around the outer sides of my feet - near my toes. Hopefully wearing them for a bit each day I can stretch and break them in, so when I walk in these I don't end up getting blisters!
As I really want to wear them to Greazefest next weekend, which will require some walking, so hopefully they OK to wear by then.
With these sandals I'm wearing my embroidered flamingo dusty pink cardigan by Banned Apparel, my skinny pattern jeans from Target Australia and my Deerarrow cocktail brooch.

I love this little brooch by Deerarrow, it's so cute with the pineapple, the hibiscus flower and flamingo, this is my third brooch to date by this company, all they're brooches are homemade and they have so many cute and awesome brooches to choose from, on their website.

One more photo of these wonderful shoes, I'm so happy I have finally got myself a pair!

Until next time!

Cherry Swing!

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/14297087/?claim=2vdwshvm7ag">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
I have decided to change the name of my blog and instagram account, which is actually now missmillacherry, mainly because I wanted more of a pinup style name and just felt it was time to change my name up a bit. It's not much of a change, as I still wanted to keep the name in general. But I feel this little name change is more me!

Today's outfit blog post is about these vintage inspired swing trousers by the brand Vivien of Holloway, which I have blogged previously before here is the link: http://missmillacherry.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/cherry-red.html
These trousers are so comfortable to wear and I love the red colour. They actually feel like I'm wearing a pair of true vintage trousers from the 1940's/50's.
I decided to match my coral colour vintage blouse with these awesome trousers. Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my luxulite brooch, my red hair-snood, my retro sunglasses and my cherry purse by Sourpuss Clothing.
Vintage blouse is from a local vintage yard sale.
Swing trousers are from Vivien of Holloway   http://www.vivienofholloway.com/

Cherry print purse is from my local rockabilly boutique called Cherry Tree Lane Fashion (find on facebook)
Hair-snood is from an ebay seller.
I wanted to use my cute cherry print purse by Sourpuss as a prop for today's outfit blog.  I find this purse/bag goes with a lot of my outfits as I do love a cherry print and of course the colour red.

Until next time!

Cup of Tea!

I've only got two weeks of work left, then I'm on holidays for two and a half weeks...yay!!
Last night I went to the movies with my brother's girlfriend we went to see the second Magic Mike movie, the story line is pretty slow and boring and I found the male stripping wasn't that exciting either not like the first movie anyway, personally I would give this movie 2 out of 5 stars.  I do enjoy going to the movies from time to time though, especially if it's something I really want to see.

Today's blog post is about my new skirt from Pinup Girl Clothing it's the Jenny skirt in Queen of Hearts border print. I love the Alice in Wonderland inspired novelty fabric print and all the colours, once again they're are so many tops/blouses you can match it with. I decided to wear my fluffy black sweater with this skirt, as it's still so cold here where I live.
This is my fourth Jenny skirt to date, I love all my Jenny skirts so much. Only downside I wish it had lipstick pockets, but still I just love this skirt, I'm so happy I ended up buying it!
Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my new Deerarrow pink tea-set brooch, my pink hair-flower and my pink retro Hell Bunny belt.
Black fluffy sweater is from Kmart (Australia).

Winter Days!

I just completed my tax return for this financial year, so I hope to get some extra money deposited into my bank account within the next few days! With this extra bit of dosh I need to get my car serviced (long overdue) and put some of it aside for my upcoming holidays. But I'm also going to buy something nice for myself, I've been eying of and wanting a pair of these cute flamingo sandals from the brand Miss L Fire, but they are a bit on the expensive side for me but then again at the same time they are so unique and gorgeous so I'll probably order a pair for myself!!

I have blogged about these pair of jeans by Freddies of Pinewood previously before this is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/06/1940s-look.html these jeans have been so great to wear over the last couple of days with this really cold weather we've been having here in Queensland.
These jeans are just so comfortable to wear and go so well with a number of different tops, blouses and cardigans. For these blog photos I decided to wear my short sleeve cardigan by the Australian brand Dangerfield, which is from their Revival collection.
Here I'm accessorizing this outfit with my pink beret, and my pink cat-eye sunglasses.

Calling For Flowers!

Apparently it's supposed to get really cold for Queensland weather standards over the next few days, which I'm totally not looking forward to! I really don't like cold/freezing weather, sometimes it's just so hard to get and stay warm. Also it does make it challenging to dress nicely but also to stay warm as well. I just hope this coming cold snap doesn't stay around for too long!

This pretty floral dress for today's blog I have blogged previously before here is the link:  http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/bouquet-of-flowers.html   I just love this dress by Hearts and Roses London.  I love the floral print, the sturdy cotton fabric and the 1950's swing style of this dress.
This dress is great to wear in the summer and in the winter months, just had a cardigan/jacket or tights/stockings like I have for these blog photos.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my Erstwilder milkshake brooch, my blue cardigan, my petticoat, a necklace and a pink hair-flower.
Hearts and Roses floral dress is from Poison Kandy Klothing http://www.poisonkandyklothing.com.au/
Blue cardigan is from Kmart Australia.
Silver flats are from Rivers Australia.
White petticoat is from an ebay seller.

Tights, hair-flower and necklace are from a local accessories store.
I thought I would use this vintage reproduction phone as a prop for today's outfit blog photos, it actually belongs to my Mum,  she loves vintage inspired furniture and homewares.

Until next time!

Rockabilly Red!

I have recently sold a few of my pinup/rockabilly dresses that are either a little big, tight or not really a favorite of mine anymore through a facebook group to make room for more gorgeous dresses and outfits! Otherwise if I don't let go of some of my clothes my wardrobe will just end up getting out of control! There are quite a few dresses/skirts I've been eying of and wanting to add to my ever growing wardrobe recently and this dress I'm blogging today is one of these!

I bought this dress through Glamour Bunny website it is the Wanda Red 1950's Retro Pinup dress. I just love the red colour, the white collar and white sleeve edging, the white buttons down the front top-half and the little belt.
Other great features is the pleated skirt and the light cotton fabric. Only downside for me is there are no pockets and it's not lined. But I still love this dress all the same.
I decided to accessorize this dress with my white cardigan, my Collectif retro sunglasses and my Erstwilder curling Cassandra cat brooch.
Wanda dress is from Glamour Bunny UK   http://www.glamourbunny.co.uk
Red flats are from Kmart.
White cardigan is from Target.
Erstwilder brooch is from a vintage fair market.

Red umbrella is from a pre-loved boutique.

I thought my red umbrella would go very well used as a prop for today's outfit blog photos! I just adore this umbrella!

Until next time!

All The Pastels!

Next weekend I've booked myself in for my next tattoo...which will end up being my third one, at this stage I'm planning of getting an hibiscus flower/s on one side of my back! I'm anxious but at the same time excited to have it done as well. I'll probably post a photo on instagram after it's done and hopefully on here on my personal blog in the near future. My Mum is also coming, as she wants to get something done as well!

Today's outfit blog post is about this harlequin Jenny skirt by Pinup Girl Clothing and my cute little flamingo cardigan by Sourpuss Clothing. I have blogged about this skirt before in a previous blog post here is the link: http://cherrymilla82.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/harlequin-style.html
I just love the harlequin colours in this skirt and how you can mix and match a lot of different colour tops/blouse's with it. That's why I knew matching my cute flamingo Sourpuss cardigan with this wonderful Jenny skirt would work. The pastel pink/green go so well together!
I decided to accessorize this outfit with my pink Sun Jellies bag, my pink hair-flower and my pink retro car necklace.
